I rate SummonersCon a fucking 9/10 con. Will go again. Definitely will be my next annual con much like ALA. I had a blast. This whole post will be about my entire time at Summoners Con. The full 2 days. A lot of detail cause I can never stop talking. These are memories I’d like to last with me forever. But in short, I had a blast at Summoners Con and I can’t wait for next year to be there in full cosplay with a hotel room. ;P

Everything was great and I understand mistakes of smaller cons with limits such. Next year I will attempt to volunteer to help out the staff. Also for anyone who actually reads this long ass post. I’ll be linking everything I talk about (as long as I have sources. I didn’t grab every card :X) if you would like to find the artist, youtubers, streamer, or event.

Day 1 at Summoners Con the start was slow. They we’re low on staff in the morning so the line to get it was held back by an hour and 30 minutes. That’s alright though. I know everyone was getting antsy and I started too, but I just left it alone because I staff or more so volunteer at ALA and I know how crazy it gets behind the scenes. I tried talking to people in line with me. I was alone and excited, but had no one to share my excitement with without being creepy or some kind of weeaboo. lmao. Unfortunately the people in front of me were younger kids and didn’t want to talk to me at all, so i tried talking to those behind me. Which was another young kid and his mom. This kid was wearing a old TSM pullover hoodie with Bjergsen on it, so I tried to talk to him about TSM. Which is one of the only LCS Teams i know nothing about besides Dyrus and WildTurtle. I tried tho. He was really quiet and shy. So after a very short conversation his mom would occasionally talk to me. She was really nice. I don’t recall what made us get into a really deep conversation that we started talking all through out the line when it started moving. I ended up bumping into them a lot because it was such a small con. Manly the mom. The kinds name is Tiger i believe. Which is pretty fucking cool tbh and I loved how to made that with his Summoner name. anyways since he was too shy to talk to any one his mom ran around to get autographs and since I wanted to see everyone as well we went together. Day 1 was extreme chill. I walked in and went straight to the Artist Alley. I walked to the back since everyone was herding to the front for AA and the computers to play league solo or get on the big screen. I came to SummonersCon with an extremely low budget. I wasn’t expecting life to happen and to pay gas for 4 different people and previous events last month to put me where i am.

But the first vendor i went to was Rinidinger or more popularly known as RinTheYordle. She was super nice and hyped and just gave me the greatest vibes when I talked to her. I don’t remember her being there the first run, but i came back to her booth about 3 times. I wanted to buy so much stuff but was also Christmas shopping for my other best friend. I didn’t get to see everything and I LOVE yordles and i didn’t buy anything for myself because I needed to save 20 for my best friend. I love Chamille’s art and I’m surprised she didn’t have art of Rin herself. She will fix that though. So I look forward to art of Rin. You can see her Twitter here as she’s most active there I believe.

Zulidoodles was next as she was right next to RinTheYordle and I visited her booth a few times as well. I bought her last print of Snapchats on the Rift. It was a leftover from her last con. I talked to her for a bit and I wanted to buy more, but that was the only TREAT-YO-SELF feeling I got as it was the last one and I wanted it from AX previously. :P Zuli is a sweetheart and we talked what to do when bored at the con the next time i stopped by. She was talking about going behind those playing and cheering them on or making jokes and such while you wait to play. Honestly i was very tempted to do so and even brough up air horns so you can blare them when they died or won. Was fun as hell. Tsuaii was also there and he makes really gorgeous pictures of mainly female characters. I believe his Pool Party Riven is currently super popular. Honestly it’s my favorite piece though all his other artwork is just as beautiful. That one just really captures me for whatever reason. I shall talk about him more in day 2.

Hyun’s Dojo was there, (as you all know as Summoners Showdown) with a big TV showing their animations. Domics was also at their booth and it was really great to see them. Their booth was always crowded so I didn’t walk over there much besides to view the animations in spare time. They also had a smash event where at 5pm they have Smash on the big screen and if you beat them you win a free poster. I already bought a poster, I didn’t think I would as I did buy some during Anime Expo, but they had Braumix posters. So I bought Braum with all the poros on his arms. I left it there with my sticky note of my name on it so I could get everyone to sign it. I also wanted a picture with the crew, but I knew everyone was always scattered, so i accepted i wasn’t going to get a full picture throughout the day as I wandered. Also Hyun’s Dojo website has been funded for creating your own animations. Check it out when you have the time. I didn’t notice til just now as I am behind in keeping track with everyone.

Nips was there with a small booth. I talked to her a bit before asking her to sign in my sketchbook. I hope to see her another time to get a print signed. Please check out her shop! Also her comic. Though I’m not sure the rating on it..It’s about Prisoners so expect it to be nsfw. FFSade was there as well and I was super excited to see her. She didn’t remember me from AX, but a lot of people don’t. So many people go by. Unless I visited booths a lot and talked to the artist and kept buying stuff I don’t get remembered. Zuli remembers me since I always came back to her booth during AX and bought her display print on the last day. I ran in to get it. I tried so hard. I visited all 4 days and bought either buttons or a small print until the last day. haha Sade was a little busy during AX and I only stopped twice. I love how she draws Wukong and i bought her button there. One day i’ll be able to commission her for a Wukong poster. I did buy a Master Yi button to match my Wukong. I also got Braum and Tristana. She also streams Splatoon, League, Overwatch, etc and her art.

JustDuet has been making those super cute champions as cats artwork. I only had some cash so i bought a Braum cat sticker and You Belong in a Muesum sticker. She hasn’t been active on tumblr but you can see her active on Twitter.

Uguubear was there as well and Ririmon. My friend bought Ririmon’s shirt that i wanted. (I brought him to day two.)

There were only a few artist but i can’t remember all of them. asdfg but after that I went in line to wait to see Sp4zie. I only really wanted to see Sp4zie but the line was for all 3 people. Uberdanger was in the and Pokimane, little jenny, and Raihnbowkidz. 2 youtubers and 3 girl streamers. Seeing Sp4zie was amazing! His videos always make me smile. He makes me super happy. I wanted to thank him for what he does and i got nervous and excited and he waved for me to come over and the line was a little ways off. So he motioned to come over and was all “you are so far awaaayy!!” And I waddled like a little penguin over to him and said hi and hugged him and had him sign my sketchbook as well. I got a picture with him and hugged him again and said everything i wanted too and waddled to Uber. Uber I used to be a huge fan of his videos but my views on him changed. Nothing extremely negative, just not what I expected. All the same. It was UberDanger. I hugged him. Took a picture and had him signed. The previous people were talking about him and keyori and I wanted to see both so I talked to him a little about that and told him I liked his videos. Which is honest. I enjoy some of his work. I love video editing and I used to make AMV’s and I’m super picky about watching them. haha but the timing and editing Uber does is pretty on point.

Now to be honest I don’t know any of the girl streamers besides raihnbowkidz and I only know her from Allorim. She’s a higher streamer and he’s a slower streamer. But Raihnbowkidz is plat while Allorim is challenger. They are good friends! I watch Allorim when he streams. He doesn’t have a schedule and it’s at random but sometimes they play together. I decided to see them anyways and get their signatures as well. They were all extremely nice to me?? I was confused about it but happy. Most friend more like sign me up. I don’t recall what we were talking about but they were complimenting me a lot and said i was great. I asked Raihnbow about Allorim as i knew he was there but i didn’t know where and she was telling me he was sick and in the hotel. And i was just talking to her like well I hope he feels better soon and could get out to the con. And they were just all really nice and saying i was great and i don’t know what brought that on but i went with it like oh thank you and laughed and told them to have a great con before i left. I left the meetup tables watch IEM at the end of the room and organize my stuff and about 5 minutes later Allorim walks up to me and says im great and i’m like ??? and i feel like spaghetti is falling out of my pockets. He pats my back and we talk and I have him sign my book as well and I thought i took a selfie with him, but there’s no picture on my phone...i’ll check my camera later, But i was really hyped to see him since he’s the only one I know who plays Wukong top and really fucking good. I’ve learned from watching him when I first started playing league so I mean, I wouldn’t be good without some kind of instruction. It’s just how I learn. So that was great and he went off and I was really excited after that.

So I watched a bit of IEM and went to talk to more artist. Already basically talked about all that though. I hung out with Tiger and his mom too. Oh. Also while waiting in line for everyone I saw Keith walk by and shouted out to him. He waved high and kept walking but all his friends were like ??? dUDE SAY HI TO YOUR FANS. And he was like ahh and I saw Keith at LCS and made a Le Toucan sign for him. But I was able to get his autograph and a picture at SummonersCon which was cool. LCS I didn’t get an autograph. I ran into LeagueBoy as I headed over to the big screens to watch random players and the college teams. I got a picture with him and a autograph and he was with Adrian so I got his as well and I believe it was Dodo8 with him but didn’t realize until afterwards and I never found Dodo8 after that. QQQQ

I saw Locodoco and BoxBox as well! Got their autographs. At some point around the con. Got in line to see Keyori, Jaynee, and Higashi! Got their autographs and a picture with them as well. Told them I loved their videos and was happy Higashi was able to make it to Summoners Con! Thanked them and told them to have a good con. They fixed the lines into 3 lines, by then. I wanted to see Nicki Taylor but her line was waaay long by the time I got to Keyboy and the others.

I hung out with Tiger’s mom a lot and we got things signed together. The last signing were people i knew but i wasn’t like Sp4zie hyped to see them. Redmercy, Instalok and Lunity, and Sovita and LolNatsumi. I got a fist bump from Redmercy on day 2. that got me hyped. I wanted to get things signed but it just didn’t happen?? I ended up talking to the volunteer staff worker cause he was standing alone. So i talked to him for an entire hour or so then went to see if Tiger was on stage yet as he signed to play on stage. I went to the League of Legends Trivia that Blakinola was doing, but got there at the end of it. But I got picked to get on stage and that was sweet. I was hoping for a Master Yi question but I got an Annie question and won a I love/hate teemo wristband. The guy right next to me got a Master Yi question tho. lmao. Unfortunately he got it wrong. When I walked in tho the question going on was something along the lines of, “If Donkey Kong was in league of legends (which he should be) which barrel blasting champions would he be friends with.” Gragas and Gangplank were the right answers. LOL

I went to one of the pro panels but missed out on to watch Tiger play. Tiger plays mainly Mid and Jungle but had to Support. He doesn’t like Supporting but when he has to he plays Braum. So when we talked about stuff while waiting for him to get called to play he was much more opened to me and was showing me twitter posts as I was with him. He didn’t talk much, but was a really sweet kid. Mind you he’s like 15. I was more than happy to be friend him though and I knew he wanted someone to talk to. We kept seeing each other and I mainly did all the talking which worked out for him as he never said much. He lost in his game and they were doing bad at the start but mid game was great and it lasted 40 minutes and they nearly won, but ended up losing from the enemy comeback. He landed some good Braum ults though. He even had the El Tigre Braum skin. <3 I hope to play league with him soon. I want to see how well he plays Mid. He plays a lot of Ekko. In the podcast panel we talked more and he bought the Snow Day Sivir weapon for your hands. And I asked him how much it was and he was like “20$ do you want one? I’ll buy it for you?” and i was all surprised by that like sir save your money. lmao. I told him i was good but thanked him for the offer. He ended up leaving shortly after and came back and bought me a nunu figure from TheLeagueVault. Now the figures were 15$ and i told him nto too but he just went out and got me something. And when he gave it to me I was surprised and just held it and I was laughing really hard inside but smiled and thanked him and told him i’ll try to get it signed by Nunu and Wilumps VO’s on day 2. I was laughing to myself though because Nunu is one of my most hated champions. When I first started playing you gotta play bots til like level 5 and LORD Nunu top + Aatrox was a pain in my ass and someone always tried to Jungle so I was alone top with spaghetti falling out of my pockets. Even when i watched LCS during that time Nunu was played alot for so long and I was just angry like REMEMBER NUNU TOP? and it just haunts me to this day like...remember when you first play the game you gotta go against some bullshit like Nunu top. I hate Nunu but I’m growing for of him now. Tiger got me something because he valued our friendship. When I got home my friends were telling me to just sell it or something, but I’m keeping him in his box and once I get my room cleaned I’ll put him on display. It’s nice to have friends and I’d like to help Tiger in whatever situation he’s in. He obviously wants to be involved in games and he mentioned going pro and I’ll support him whether that’s the case or not. It’s just really sweet and honestly I hope we can become really good friends and rank up together. The Summoners Con Orchestra was good. I liked it and we had to move up to make it look full for the stream. :P We all left sometime during Lunityy singing as my ride got there at the time and they wanted to turn in early. Oh I also got Karma rework (Rashida Clendening) and Draven, Jax, and Vel’koz (Erik Braa) autograph and picture. I also saw RNG Leonyx and got a Renegades bandana!! I also talked to MapleStreet and he’s on Team Imagine now. I can’t wait to support all these new teams. I love Team8 as they are Team Great and the first team I grew fond of. So I really like all the players even though they all kind split ways. I can’t just not support them omg. That’s dumb. Anyways Day 1 was super chill but fun. OH YEAH. I also met Geranimo and I didn’t say everything I wanted too, but it was really cool to see him. I don’t recall who he was walking with, but he was shopping at JustDuet’s booth and I just waited for him to be done or get distracted to say hi cause he mentioned he has adhd sometimes in every few streams. But I got a picture with him and his signature and hugged him oh and he gave me a hand shake when we first started talking. Which was really funny because in that 0.3 second hand shake it was the best handshake of my life. Like...his hands weren’t gross and warm or cold as fuck. And as gay as it sounds his hand just fit mine and had firm grip. Like praise the sun. best handshake of my life. I needed to talk about this cause my life is filled with people with the worst handshakes ever. Like trying to to talk to family or like business people and just. no. stop. I hate handshakes but i gotta do it. How come we all just can’t high five or fist bump. Why do we gotta have physical contact anyways? lord. But that was great and I wanted to hang with him or anyone but i know people are busy and such. I was able to thank him and stuff so <3 <3. But yeah i got a ride home from my best friend Sabrina and on the way we picked up my other best friend Wolfy. Fucking 10/10 he spent the night and woke up for Day 2.

Day. motherfucking. 2.

So we wake up and get ready and Sabrina comes back over to take us to the con. He gave me Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon early as a christmas gift. he said he may not be here during xmas so he just gave ours to us now since we don’t hang out in person as much as we should. But we get to the con and everything is still closed til 10 so we start playing Pkmn Super Mystery Dungeon and making the characters after ourselves. So I got Oshawott and stuck with it and he choose Fennekin. Which was great cause my parnter got locked as Fennekin and he got me as Snivy but choose me as Oshawott. They were right next to each other. So we play the game and we start making stupid ass league memes during it and mixing it up. Nuzleaf is daddy Graves and the Beheeyem were collectively Twisted Fate. And we were just being dumb about it cause it’s a kids game and we’re fucking stupid and i will never stop laughing about it. So yanno Nuzleaf lets us stay at his place and we were being 5 making a bunch of the daddy kink jokes. We didn’t make it far cause we were laughing like hyenas and the doors opened. when they were about too every crowded the door and I saw Tiger and his mom again. Introduced them to Wolf and we went in together. Tiger went straight for the computers. And back to Tsuaii. That’s one of his favorite artist and he started having a crisis of what to get and was really excited he was there. I saved money for his gift and I didn’t know which print he really wanted so i just waited. We walk around and we come back to the booth and spend 20 years at this guys booth trying to decide what to buy. We ended up buying two prints. His Battle Bunny Riven (it’s not on his tumblr) so he could get Boxbox to sign and Forecast Janna as that was his original bae when we first started playing together. He was so happy. It was great. Oh yeah when we stopped he asked to see his nsfw prints and Wolf really wanted one of those but they were more and i didn’t have the money. It was funny because he had a moment where he was all “Wait I’m gay.” I nearly died because it’s always funny when he makes that statement where I am used to it, he still takes a moment like wait what. I fucking love him lmao. We pick up my Braum print right after and everyone from Hyun’s Dojo signed and Domics. Domics signed Braum’s armpit. Praise the sun.

Met up with Tiger’s mom to get in line for Blakinola, Xpecial, and The Yordles. The lines were alright. Xpecial senpai was who I wanted to see and was great. I talked to him about his stream and when he was playing Ori and the Blind Forest. It was 10/10. I got his signature and a hug. I’m just gonna say I hugged everyone right here and now. I’ll just “ “ for signs and hugs. lmao. Met Blakinola afterwards and got his button. I don’t recall if i got a picture but he was tall like Uber and Boxbox. I’m so tiny. We saw The Yordles after and I never really listened to their songs but I knew who they were so why not? They were also really fucking sweet. Like oh man. Miles is such a cutie and Sonny is dapper as fuck. I was looking forward to their show that night and we got a wristband. “ “ and I got a picture with them. We then split off and Wolf and I went to the hallway and just sat there talking and watching people come in and such. He went to sleep at like 5:30 am and my alarm went off at 6:30am. Like sir. He was dying. And my back was just hurting so we were just dying.

We eventually went back to the line and Wolf got in line for Boxbox and I got in line with Tiger’s mom. She was in the front of the line so I was like hell yeah. I helped her get some signatures and she was helping me. Dyrus walked up to talk to LilyPichu and the two guys in front of me jumped out of line interrupted them for an autograph and got back in line. It was rude as fuck and then people started getting out of line to get Dyrus to sign stuff and then he had his own line at the end of the room......People were hearing rumors yesterday that Dyrus didn’t want to sign anything or take photos and that’s probably because people were probably asking when he was trying to do stuff...

But i was in line to see Hai. I wanted to see Dyrus as well but I could get him walking around the con if he wasn’t busy. When the line opened for Hai I nearly cried I was so excited and nervous and couldn’t believe I was there. I hugged him and took a picture and had him sign my sketchbook and as fast as i could like with anyone else said everything i wanted. I told him he was my favorite player of all time and that I love watching his streams. He was my heroes and inspiration and thanked him for everything. I got a white Cloud9 wristband and hugged him again before getting in line to see Boxbox with Wolf. I was super excited and these two guys we met earlier were behind him and we talked and they were both like 12 and 13 but our height or just reaching it. I got Tiger’s mousepad signed as his mom was in line for LilyPichu and I got Boxbox’s signature the other day. Wolf is small like me. 5′5 or 5′4 and Boxbox is tall. Wolf is soft spoken unless he is memeing. rofl. But he couldn’t find words when meeting them. So I spoke for him. lmao. He got a selfie with Boxbox and got his print signed by the both of them. I didn’t know he wanted to see Hai as well so we got back in line with Tiger’s mom for LilyPichu.

When we were talking I touched Wolf’s shoulder and he was just quiet and shaking of excitement like I was with Hai, but he was there so I was able to share my excitement and he was just like WHOA OMG in his head or something. It was great. Meeting the LilyPichu was fun. I got a picture with her and Wolf and Tiger’s mom took the picture for us. She thought Tiger’s mom was my mom or something and I told her the story on how we became friend in TLDR version. She said that was amazing and funny. She never heard of anything like that happening. It was pretty funny but we enjoyed our time.

Dyrus was still hanging around but he was talking with Charlie from C9 and some girl I don’t recall who she was. I walked up and asked as politely as I could if I could get a picture with him and his autograph. He was reluctant to do either of them but didn’t say no and i was more than willing to leave him be but he just kind said quickly and i stumbled to open a page. I apologized to him a lot and told him i hear the rumors and just apologized a ton. I wasn’t able to say anything I actually wanted cause i was so nervous about it all. It made it worse when the girl was all “I feel so bad for you” to him and some other stuff i rather just not repeat because i felt like shit because of it for the day. It just kept repeating in my head and i felt super bad.

So after that we get back in Hai’s line because I didn’t know Wolf wanted to see Hai as well. He doesn’t follow much of the pro play and the standing. He look for that eye candy tho. He got a signature as well but on another page of my sketchbook. Afterwards we saw Fenix, Jokasteve, IwillDominate in the artist alley. I got all their signatures and hugged them and told Jokasteve that I love Team Liquid and C9 but I can never choose between the two of them. I was really happy to hug Dom tho. <3 Dom is my jungle and Hai is my mid. Dream team.

Afterwards i chilled more got more autographs and made it only to the end of the Why Gaming needs Feminism panel. QQ. I wanted to be there so bad and only made it to the end. Saw the First Blood video. Voice Actor panel was 10/10. Got all their autographs. Lulu’s vo is so sweet. and Annie’s and Tryndamere’s are super talkative. I love them. Viktor’s/TF vo didn’t talk much and all of it was mainly about TF. :0 Nocturne’s vo was fuckin great and voices in Dangan Ronpa!! Byakuya Togami. fucking praise it. It was a fun panel and i missed the show match til the end. at that point i was dying. Wolf went to sign up for the Smash games that Hyun’s Dojo were doing. I was falling asleep trying to watch everything. I watched the growing your community panel and that was hella but kept falling asleep during the second VO panel. which sucked. The cosplay contest was pretty cool! and the Wukong cosplay won best in show. Heeellll ye. There weren’t that many cosplayers but it was cool to see the few they had. Day 1 there was a Twitch in my favorite skin Whistler Village and when i saw then i nearly shouted “IM GONNA SHIT.” As my epik memer friend Maya say that when she’s excite about something. I pick up on my friends slang. lmao. Cosplay Serious business panel was great. They just answered questions but Luke, or Foamsmith cosplay, kept bringing up foam and it suddenly became a summoners con meme as a few people were chanting foam when The Yordles were going to play. It was fun. I was a little alive during this part and they played a few songs and my sister was on her way to pick us up. They sung Insta-lock Tryndamere, Fiddle dum, Fiddle dee, Mundo loves Vayne, Duo Queue, It was K, and League is my Best Friend. They could have played more but I had to leave in the middle of that last one. Which was really bittersweet as i was exhausted but had a lot of fun, but the post con depression started coming in as I was leaving because it was all over. Tiger and his mom left earlier than us and I’ll be adding him on league soon. In short I had a blast. I meet more poeple and autographs i didn’t mention. I’ve been trying to write this all day but my mom came home and wanted me to clean and then friends came over to say hi and i kept listening to music and getting really into it.

Its 1:21am and i started this at like 7 or 7:30am. LOL. I’m awful. Goodnight. I recorded what I wanted. That’s all that matters.
