Let's lend our support to the Sumoud Convoy! Thousands of volunteers from all around North Africa are marching to break the siege by land. They are currently (June 11) in Libya, with many more Libyans joining up and providing them resources along the way. There are reports of business owners along the route pledging to give free gas and food to the convoy!

The next step is whether they will be allowed to enter Egypt. Countless people are flying in from around the world to Egypt in order to join the Global March to Gaza beginning tomorrow (june 12). The convoy seems to be meeting up with them there.

I have seen a few reports of 40+ Algerian activists having been arrested at the airport by Egyptian authorities ahead of the march. We will just have to wait and see now...

Israel targeted a completely civilian flotilla carrying only aid supplies and tortured its members. Every action taken against the Sumud flotilla and its members is a clear violation of international law. Israel will be punished! Humanity has awakened! Free free Palestine! 🇵🇸

Coordinator of the “Sumoud” Convoy to Break the Siege on Gaza, Marwan bin Qataya, to Shehab News: Maghreb delegations will join the convoy heading toward the Libyan-Egyptian border, to cross Egyptian territory and reach the Gaza Strip. The convoy continues its journey to the Libyan-Egyptian border, where the Mauritanian delegation will join, and Libyans are mobilizing crowds to participate. Thousands from the Maghreb peoples will gather at the Libyan-Egyptian border to enter Egypt and cross through the Rafah crossing to stand with the free people of Gaza—for one goal, with hostility toward no one: to break the siege. The convoy’s purpose is to break the siege on the people of Gaza, who have been starving, thirsting, and facing extermination for over 20 months. These peoples rise in a time of silence and betrayal, to make their voices heard: enough of this siege on Gaza, enough of the aggression—this war must end, and aid must be allowed in.
