two years of my life and I’m still trying to believe that somewhere beneath the ruins life will find a way back I’ve grown older not just in numbers but in pain in patience in every small miracle of survival Allah allowed me to have in a world where death keeps stealing people’s dreams I thank god I still breathe I still carry this tiny piece of hope that maybe the days ahead will be kinder two years of silent resistance of choosing to live even when living feels impossible alhamdulillah for time for survival for a heart that never lost its humanity even through the genocide
