-At least the ropes bc Jimmy doesnt want to "trap" menace and she understands

-He doesnt know she has freckles until the festival

-Listener friends.

-They know where the listener symbol is on each other

-Jimmy help's Gem the most with the surges from Listeners, because he knows how bad it feels and shes closer to him than Martyn (Martyn also helps & cares dw<3)

-When Jimmy finds out about the fact Gem is hoping worlds, he's worried she'll get hurt

-That one scene of Gem killing Jimmy? Jimmy doesnt hate her. he doesnt blame her. He doesnt go after her. Peer pressure is a bitch but he cares too much about her.

-She shows up in tumble town a few hours later, and begs for his forgiveness

"You dont need to beg, Gem."

"I hurt you!"

"I dont care. Youre my best friend. Come here,"

-They hug and Jimmy just holds her for a good while bc she clearly is under a lot of a stress

-The crossover happens and He's there to help get her through it

-The fight for the Crown isnt something he takes serious, more so uses it as an excuse to see his best friend again bc he hasnt seen her in WEEKS.

-He's her biggest comfort especially after Fwhip dies.

-Hes there the entire time, her best friend & partner, and helps her like she did for him when Liz died.

-She learns about Storm/Fwhip being the same person and breaks down to Jimmy. He doesnt ask.

"Hey, hey.. Shh. Its okay, Jim's here.. Youre okay girlie.."

-Yes he calls her "girlie" he also calls her "gemstone" (she calls him "cowboy" & "Canary")

-Hugs from behind bc theyre best friends and love each other and istfg is someone says you cant wrap your arms around your best friends waist then SHUT THE FUCK UP BECAUSE I DO IT BC I LOVE MY FRIENDS AND THEY LOVE ME AND WERE BOTH COMFORTABLE WHEN IT HAPPENS.

-ahem.

-Gem finds comfort leaning into him & practically forces him to hug her from behind

-Jimmy doesnt mind<3

-This seems romantic but its all platonic dont take it any other way

-WtcF: Jimmy's worried about her bc they have tea every friday and she stops showing up

-AGTRYB: Jimmy knows. He sees it in her eyes when she gets back to the Cliffs. He sees the regret she holds and how tense she is.

-Gem knows he knows, but doesnt do anything about it (^)

-(^) Jimmy doesnt try to stop her when she freezes Scott/Shrub. If Lizzie was in Fwhip's place he wouldve done the same thing.

okay so!! Obviously Pearl & Grian became watchers following EVO, like Jimmy & Martyn !!

They didnt know Gem was snatched off her server at the time too, not until s8 of hermitcraft/s1 of Empires

Jimmy was the first one to find out!

Xisuma knows as well, as has Martyn & Jimmy whitelisted for the "surges" they all go through.

These "surges" are when pain erupts in their body from wherever the listener/watcher symbol is on their body. From there it expands like waves outward, and can range in pain levels:

Level 1 -> a light throbbing, like trhe start of headache

Lvl 2 -> Feels like an actual headache now, but it's manageable

Lvl 3 -> Migraines, get away and fast, before lvl 4 & 5 come.

Lvl 4 -> Cannot stand it. Atp youre on your knees trying not to sob in pain.

Lvl 5 -> Full blown pain, cannot handle it alone, basically curled into a ball, sobbing with pain.

Gem's listener symbol is on her right shoulder, just below her shirt/dress collar lines so its covered.

Jimmy's is on his chest, the opposite side to where his heart is.

Pearls is on her inner left wrist, her jacket tends to cover it but she also wraps bandages around it as an extra cover.

Martyn's is on his left hip, just above his pants line

Grian's is on his neck, where his hair covers it

They all subconsciously cover it with their hands, its a part of them engrained in their minds. Pearl will sometimes grab her left wrist and hold it; Gem will put her hand over her right shoulder and rub slightly; Jimmy will put his hand over the right side of his chest, no one pays attention to this because they think its just Jimmy being Jim; Martyn will always have one hand on his left hip; and Grian will put his hands behind his head, on his neck, especially when taunting someone.

Impulse and Pearl know that e2!Gem is their Gem during the crossover because of this habit; especially when everyone is together in the nether, the way she has her hand over her shoulder ot how Jimmy's arm is over her shoulder when they're whispering about something? Classic Gem & Jimmy habits when in big groups and nervous. They know their Gemini anywhere, especially with the habit giving it away.
