Tim reviews Jason's operations management and makes a suggestion.

"Your first move: hire a head of sanitation," Tim said.

"You think a janitor's gonna solve my suddenly-successful-startup problems? What, by sweeping them away?" Jason rolled his eyes.

Tim steepled his fingers. “The good news,” he said, “is that your drug distribution and community norms enforcement hierarchy is very clear. You also have people doing marketing, program management, HR, facilities, and admin. Your system of rotating duties when people get injured isn’t bad—people generally benefit from cross-training—but you should formalize the top positions and compensate your new leadership team. Including sanitation.” 

“Sure, sure, I'll just tell one of my guys their job is to be head shit-scrubber instead of a badass neighborhood protector!" Jason threw up his hands.

Tim raised his eyebrows.

“It’s bad enough getting them to clean up a crime scene when they’re on my literal shit list! A couple of them thought that lighting the building on fire was an easier way to get it to stop smelling bad and having DNA. Guess who had to add five new slides to his powerpoint about evidence disposal?" Jason glared.

Tim grimaced. "I had an intern in the office who thought that he could just throw trash off his desk for the cleaning staff to pick up."

He and Jason shared a commiserating look that silently said, We were both stupid enough to work with the League of Assassins, and even we wouldn't do that.

“Anyway," Tim continued, "since you're dealing with...that...you can just hire an outside party. Lots of people in Gotham know how to clean up dead bodies and keep their mouths shut. I can advertise the position and send you the likeliest candidates for an interview. I’ll have to incorporate you, of course, but I’ve had the paperwork ready since I got back from the Middle East.” 

“Incorporate me?” 

“Red Hood LLC, technically."

Jason's breathing became calculatedly even.

"Once you’re legit in the eyes of the law, we can work on squaring away everyone’s taxes and keep you from getting Capone’d.” 

“I’m as legit as one of Two-Face’s two-dollar bills!” 

“Yeah, but when you’re an LLC, all your crimes are white-collar crimes, and no one cares about those.” Tim shrugged.

“...Pretty sure that’s not how that works, bud.” 

“It’s how the court of public opinion works. And if anyone tries to say that Red Hood, CEO of Red Hood LLC, and Red Hood, notorious vigilante, are the same person? Tell them to prove it. So what if you have the same outfit? It’s a free country and people can wear what they want. And if they ever get your DNA results, Oracle says no they didn't.”

Jason tilted his head and started smiling. "You want Red Hood to be the Scarlet Pimpernel and Percy Blakeney. At the same time."

"The more blatant you are about it, the better. Rub elbows with Gotham's elite and tell them that you can't imagine why someone would let a Crime Alley vigilante ruin their ability to wear a red hood as a fashion statement, but in your company, people have spines. Especially when they're job creators. If you play your cards right, red headgear will be back in fashion."

"And then?"

"And then," Tim's eyes gleamed, "you start selling merch."

"Oh, shit." Jason's smile turned into a full-on smirk.

"On a sliding scale, of course."

"Those nepo babies are gonna pay me so much money to look cool."

Tim smiled. "And that's how hiring a head shit-scrubber is going to mitigate your high growth and cash flow problems."

SORRY SORRY I’M STILL BUSY W PERSONAL STUFF AND IRL STUFF but have you considered Ragatha and Gangle….

Need need NEED any semblance of Ragatha-Gangle interaction PLEASE because I was never able to get over that “Oh, Ragatha, I love her but…” line from Gangle in episode 4

Indication that they were close, implication that they grew apart because Gangle was put off(?) by Ragatha’s toxic positivity, and the show having scenes of them bonding like her teaching Gangle softball to show them reconnecting.

LIKE OK THAT’S ALL WELL AND GOOD but PLEASE I wish they had?? A conversation??? An actual acknowledgment of their dynamic and how it strained and how they want to reconnect. 

Lowkey, episode 5 would’ve been a good place to put this in because it’s already got the softball stuff

Do we think Gangle wanted space because she wanted time to actually feel her emotions, but Ragatha kept trying to comfort Gangle because she was scared Gangle might abstract if she got too sad, and because of that Gangle slowly pilled away from Ragatha? 

I’m not sure if Zooble came before Gangle but if they came after, then did Gangle feel like she was truly alone after distancing herself from Ragatha…… surely she and Zooble did not become close instantly… GANGLE…. GANGLEEEESHHHAaash…

i'll believe in anything was my favorite song at 15 so imagine my surprise when it jumped to popularity last/this year (everyone say thank you my close good friend scott hunter)

but genuinely like "i'd take you where nobody knows you and / nobody gives a damn" = both of them needing new places to be from (liam transferring schools, theo's entire past regarding beacon hills) and like being forgiven for past mistakes... oh my god "wait for the scary day / we both pull the tricks out of our sleeves, but" THEY ARE SO BAD AT BEING HONEST!!! (with themselves, with e/o, take ur pick) also them seeing each other plain or also their own fears of becoming (or returning to) their darkest selves #ok #yay #mywound

and then the entire bridge which lends itself to being an edit (if i could i'd just make an entire fmv for this song with thiam. bc they deserve it) "and i could take another hit for you" honestly i should've used liam punching theo any time in 6b bc so often theo redirects liam's anger towards himself instead of others and that's how he settles liam which is. ok girl we have got to stop self-harming. girl. but like self-preserving theo letting others and even liam ruin himself just.. For Liam?!?!?!?!??! OKAY. and then "and i could take away your drips from you" more anchoring from theo for liam but also theo getting to be himself around liam without any real or substantial judgement (liam gets rly prickly toward theo when w/ the pack but when it's just the 2 of them tgt he's like "me and the bestie ^_^" girl be fr.) "and i could take away the salt from your eyes" why is theo in love with liam. whatever. and why is liam trying to make non-consensual anchoring a thing (except it is consensual bc again, theo is in love with liam) "take away what's been assaulting you, and" see: everything i've just said and the edit.

"i could give you my apologies / by handing over all the olive trees" them finding new ways to show the past is in the past and also to show they've/theo has changed?? the sword, the anchoring, "being the bait," etc "and i could take away your shaky knees" wish i could've done a full fight scene for that bc they fight so well tgt and even if they're afraid at least they don't have to be afraid alone. ouu who said that 👀 and now i'm getting rly long-winded to say wow can't believe this was written for thiam that's crazy. everyone should love this song and love thiam beautiful world. such a perfect world for all my perfect brothers and sisters out there. Honestly, when I first heard it (thank you, Scott Hunter, indeed) I didn't think of Thiam, but I think you convinced me 🤔

And also (I'm 99% sure you didn't say it already) give me your eyes / I need the sunshine:

1. Liam get's pretty hopeless at times during season 6, but Theo is there, bringing back the "sunshine" so to speak. (Preventing Liam for killing Gabe, making sure they get out of the zoo alive, "you broke your hands trying not to"!!!, ...)

2. In general, Liam has a much healthier life and disposition than Theo (granted, the bar is in the cellar). When there are no life threatening disasters or he is loosing control, he's actually quite a sweet and charming individual (especially in a relationship). This might be more headcannon than anything else, but I believe that is what Theo needs and craves: He needs that warmth and deep, deep love that Liam can give. He needs to be understood and welcomed.

(Also if you feel so inclined, a songfic would be very reasonable. But no pressure <3)
