This is Cirrus - I suppose you could call him an ‘OC’ though I don’t do DnD, I’m just having fun with world building. What started out as a centaur centric world has evolved into other things. It’s still centaur centric—there are just other creatures, semi-human and human cultures within.
Cirrus—above—was gifted the glamour of a unicorn in its death to protect its ward, a girl of the extinct, but for The Crow, animal peoples. The unicorn was supposed to return her to her people, but was selfish and raised the girl from childhood to pre-adulthood. In death it tasks Cirrus with protecting Kate, the unicorn’s most loved companion who is now grown up. It gifts him with three forms, a two legged, his true form—centaur—and that of a unicorn.
Cirrus is of the Sun Herd, who partners with The Crow as warrior and rider to combat other warrior herds from taking their lands, and to protect the peace. Between the Sun Herd and The Crow, warrior pairs are celebrated. Kate as a result of her being paired with Cirrus, becomes Cirrus rider—his Crow partner in war—and is none too happy about it. She is a weapons smith, a weapons master, who despises war. War killed her parents, especially her mother, her mother who gifted her to the unicorn to protect.
Either form, most of all, don’t mess with Cirrus when he takes the form of a unicorn. Unicorns are not so nice in my world, what he hides is a mouth with teeth like that of a wolf. Unicorns eat flesh. They aren't cute and pink and run across rainbows.

(It’s always fun when you create a character or a culture, then draw what the people might look like, dress like, and what kind of environment they live in--then you look a little closer at each one and just wonder, what would they be like, who are they, who do they see themselves as. That’s what I do when I look at this, who are these people, what is each ones story--I challenge someone to pick one of these four and message me to put a story, background, and personality to who they are)
As mentioned as part of the story/world of different centaur cultures I’m working on - this is one of the peoples who live within their realm. They were not a warrior people, but became so in order to survive the genocide of their kind--the animal peoples who are gone, but for The Crow--The Crow have partnered with a (tribal-type) herd of centaur who are warriors that keep the peace between warrior herds within the canyon where they live. One centaur and one Crow work together as warrior and rider to fight off/keep the peace between the waring tribal centaur herds of the canyon. Most the tribal herds look down on this method of cooperation between The Crow and who are known as the Sun Herd. Centaur do not let people ride them like a human does a horse--but The Crow are not human, they are shifters/skinwalkers. Their animal, the crow, is part of who they are, and as such, they can become a crow (a handy trick when fighting).
Sorry for all the rambling. I just like world building. Especially creating new cultures.

Art I’ve created for a world I’m creating around centaur cultures - specifically those of tribal herds. These herds are Native American in influence. Above are three warriors of the Moon Herd that is at odds with the Sun Herd in their world, called Taur. I call my centaurs centaurians, or ‘taurians.
Anyways, just something I'm having fun with! Want to share my centaurs and their different cultures, specifically that of the Moon/Sun Herds - Sun Herd shown next.
So expect to see a lot of centaurs here and a lot of centaur culture.
