Relationships - Understanding Charts: Lesson Two (Sun) - The Cosmic Sage

In our continuation of this series we have Relationships - Understanding Charts: Lesson Two (Sun). The first part in reading charts.

Conjunction - 0° ~ 7°

Take the largest planet in the solar system, and then pair it with arguably one of the most important. When you have a Jupiter and Sun conjunction you are going to find someone who has a larger than life personality (especially if they're in Leo). You're going to find someone who has no issues channeling their desires and inner wants and figuring out how to expand them. They might be incredibly philosophical, and endearing when it comes to having in-depth conversations about their passions.

Opposition - 180° ~ 6°

You tend to spend a lot don't you? Falling into ruts of "well I deserve a treat-". This can be a challenging aspect in the way that you may have an over-inflated sense of self worth and desire to please yourself. Your desires aren't lining up with the growth that you need to undertake. You may feel as though you've been dealt a bad hand and can't catch a break. But as all things tnd to do- eventually we end up figuring this out. Looking at the signs in this position can help point you in the direction for where you are trying to grow, and then where your desires lay. If this is figured out you can try to find a path to peace, and it can help bolster that luck and growth.

Trine - 120° ~ 5°

You ever feel like you pass through life with like, nothing going wrong? You may have this aspect. There's a lack of feeling the struggles of life- or even the necessity to grow. Because- it's already been handed to you and you're just that lucky. It's as if there's someone looking down on you giving you a big thumbs up and saying "Ok!" whenever you figure out there's something you need. While this is overall a very good aspect to have, you also need to pay attention to where that jupiter is- so that way you can expand that growth and fall into more than you need. Try to grow instead of letting it happen passively.

Square- 90° ~ 4°

This is an interesting one. Not because you're unlucky. More or less because you do have some good fortune. Things work out- but not in the ways one would really expect. Take it this way- a square follows into our quadruplicities meaning we have some shared traits with the sign we're squaring off against. So really- if you are finding that your luck isn't super favorable or you want more, all you have to do is lay the groundwork to achieve it. If you want the success that Jupiter offers- you need to work for it.

Sextile- 60° ~ 3°

With this type of aspect in your chart you may be more predisposed to following the rules. Having an internal compass towards fairness and what's right. This is what ends up following your path towards growth and fortune. Your desires are easily understood by Jupiter and the path to growth flows easily. It might not be as forthcoming as a trine, but you carry a similar air of self-importance, and things seem to come more easily for you.

What could it mean, when your sun and moon signs are opposites? For example my sun is Sag and my moon is Gemini

Having this placement inherently means that you were born under a Full Moon.

The native's parents might have been very different. One parent perhaps were more outgoing, extroverted and open (Sun) while the other is more deep and intense as well as being more introverted (Moon)! There is a clear polarization between the two and the native can see this clearly.

"What is essentially good for you and what you desire never really allign"

The conflicting nature of their parent's relationship make it clear to them what they would like in a serious partnership. They could be serious daters and refuse the idea of marriage but also can be people who deeply crave stability and foundation

They do not like being in the unknown. They need to be informed and understood a lot of the time yet it is hard since they don't necessarily know what they want a lot of the time. Willful people but also very passionate.

The life partner of this person will also come from a good position in life. Tend to be pretty popular, Sun opposite Moon natives are loved for their insightful and daring personality.

Pretty spontaneous. They surprise themselves a lot of the time and it seems that they love people who are fixed in their opinions and usually be very into caring and grounding partners.

Critical of others but esp on themselves, amazing eyes for details. Tendencies to value long term friendship/partnership or objects with sentimental values.

Well-rounded, they are often admired by many. Despite their tendencies to be hypocritical at times, these people find it hard to admit their wrongdoings out loud, they'd rather quietly show you that they're sorry.

That's all I have for now🥳 My mother and my bestfriend also has this combo and they're AMAZING people. I think with some right developments and self-reflection, these people have the ability to go very far in life& business!

I don’t know do you guys think the full moon energy opposes the sun’s energy? I always felt like they were complimentary. Like yes opposing zodiac signs ‘oppose’ each other but when they are linked up they work together like partners that see two sides of the same coin. I feel like opposing signs are two sides of the same coin just focusing on different directions. It’s like the yin and yang symbol how its the same shape that fits into itself, and in the case of the full moon when it’s opposing the sun sign it’s like a second source of powerful energy/light that shines on the theme of the zodiac’s season. Right now we are in pisces season so it’s one of creative endeavors and dreaming but virgo is an analytical sign of planning, deadlines and realism. Together I feel like the virgo’s intense presence in the season is a partner coming into the scene to be like: Hey these dreams and creations are cool but why don’t we apply this perspective to it to help some of these dreams become a reality? Maybe some people that are not in tune with both can easily fall prey to the lunacy of the opposing powers, (as in someone who is dreaming of something too complicated, then virgo the planner comes through and they feel like its not ready or good enough to manifest into something and the task is too stressful so they get overwhelmed), but if the two are channeled they can work together to create something very powerful. This is just my opinion and I am still researching on it. What are your thoughts? As I always said anyway I prefer new moons since the easy harmony is so delightful and it’s easy for me to focus and create something with the dual energy working from the same sign, but new moons mess me up always haha.
