ENTIRE HOROSCOPE MATTERS MORE THAN A SINGLE PLANET LIKE JUPITER
It is really important to consider the entire astrology chart / vedic horoscope rather than focusing on just one planet like Jupiter. It is very simple, because our destiny is formed by the contribution of the energy of 9 planets and so judging only one planet like Jupiter cannot give us whole picture of our destiny.
In vedic astrology there are many parameters / rules and every planet has their own functions as per their placement in their horoscope.
There are so many small small parameters in a vedic horoscope that matters a lots in understanding and deriving our destiny.
Lets see and understand a bit.
1. There are 12 bhavas / houses in a vedic horoscope and each house signifies many events of our life.
This 12 houses are further divided into many more parameters.
a. Fire, earth, air and watery type.
b. Movable, fixed and dual sign.
c. Mute sign
d. Barren signs
e. Etc etc
Placements of the houses in a horoscope also matters as some house placements are considered auspicious and some are inauspicious.
2. There are 12 rashis / zodiacs and each rashi has their own traits and also have their own lord known as rashi lord and their placements in the horoscope matters a lot in defining the matter of that house.
These rashi behaves differently as per their position in the horoscope and the planets positioned in that rashi and the aspects of the other planets on that rashi and planets in it.
3. The planets behaves as per their degree, placements in the rashi and house, forward, retrograde or stationery. The planets are influenced by the aspects of other planets, conjunction or combust and thus have alteration in their functions in that horoscope.
Planets have their own traits and they also categorized natural significators and they are same in all horoscopes.
4. There are 27 nakshatra and each nakshatra is ruled by their lord. Each nakshatra have their own traits which is reflected in the formation of destiny.
5. Each planets have their own ruling period which is know a mahadasha. This mahadasha is further divided into sub and sub sub periods called as pratiantardasha, sukshmadasha and prandasha period.
Mahadasha decides the time of delivery of a promised event of a horoscope and it activates the event during its ruling period.
Here I am just trying to tell the readers that how reading of only one planet like Jupiter is not going to give the whole picture of one’s destiny.
I have not talked about many many more rules of reading and understanding of a vedic horoscope.
I have just given a very very meniscal glimpse of reading and understanding of the vedic horoscope. Mind you just meniscal glimpse. Just to make the realize that there is no short cuts in vedic astrology learning and just following one planet to understand a horoscope is a foolishness.
