You know what?
The Sun Villagers were completely justified in freaking out when Savah was trapped by Winnowill.
First, Rayek, years before this chain of events goes down, leaves, something that was unprecedented. This is important not only because of the role he had, the hunter. But no one knows if he lives or not.
Then, Savah, their actual leader, and oldest member gets lost while going out. Not only unheard of, but the group’s strongest magic users, Leetah, Sun Toucher and Suntop, cannot bring her back.
Then, Leetah, their healer, and the Wolfriders, who are excellent hunters, and took over for Rayek’s duties as hunters and zwoot wranglers, decide to go on a rescue mission. Of which they may never return.
So now their leader, their spiritual protector, is gone. Their healer, Savah’s new prodigy, and the people who serve as hunters are leaving. To go who knows where, only knowing that the last person who left is mia. Without spiritual protection against this great evil who took their leader, without anyone to heal their injured, or physical protection.
Original Quest paints them as hysterical, soft «ravvits» for being so upset. Leetah blames herself for making the Sun Villagers weak. Strongbow literally makes fun of them.
But damn, the Sun Villagers got. Every damn right to freak out like that, are you kidding me.
