He's a very shy, nervous little kid, he's very kind and sweet despite his own nerves. He is most comfortable with his family, he tries to make friends but a lot of people are a bit put off by him, he's got fifteen siblings, that's plenty of playmates.
He has an easier time making friends with ghosts than most living people, he just understands them better. And they understand him.
He likes to hear stories, any stories, from yé ye Tang, from his parents, or his siblings. He really likes Ziqi's stories, they have the prettiest shadows.
He likes to stay in doors, things get too overwhelming for him too quickly in the outside world.He cares a lot about other people, even if they hurt him, he's a very empathetic little guy. That being said, cross his family and he'll cry, to his ghost buddies who will deliver swift vengeance upon those who made him sad.
Because of how he is and the way he moves, some more superstitious people think he's a corpse raised to life or something evil like that. He really doesn't like that.
He doesn't like going to school, people always stare and whisper at him, he hates how much attention his crutches and wheelchair bring. He gets bullied for being so odd, but his sisters make anyone who does hurt.
He ends up being sent home early a lot of the time because things get too overwhelming, he doesn't like getting overwhelmed like that, but he does like that it means his jiě jie usually picks him up. Chao-Xing works near the school he and his sisters have to go to.
Sometimes though he has to wait at her work for someone to pick him up and take him home, he really doesn't like it cause her boss is really creepy, but this is also some of the only time he gets to spend with his big sister, she lives in the city during the week and comes home of weekends.
He really loves and looks up too his two oldest siblings, he doesn't know why but MK and Chao-Xing always make him feel safe. And his big sister makes him feel less weird, she's got two tails and six ears just like him :D but sometimes he thinks she doesn't like him and just pretends to so she doesn't upset him. He doesn't like feeling that way, MK says it's cause she's just really busy with her dumb job, she doesn't have time.
He likes that MK always has time for him.
He's very worried about his Papa and Baba when they have their bad days. He's not old enough to understand Wukong's chronic pains, to him it's just his Papa randomly being sick for a few days before he feels better. And he definitely doesn't have an understanding of Macaque’s depression.He knows the signs of his parents bad days and not to bother them when they have bad days, especially his Baba. His Baba is so sad on his bad days it makes him want to cry.
He spends a lot of time with his Mama and o'pa on those days. He loves his mama and o'pa a lot, but he's always worried about his Baba and Papa. He gets scary dreams when they are like that.
He's not the most mischievous cub, the family jokes his closest sisters took all the mischief with them.
He loves to play with all his siblings in their different ways, but he does feel like the odd one out since he can't play with his twin like all of them can. All he can do is visit his twin with his gē ge or jiě jie.
