I’m a lil confused on why moon switched up towards the end there, was he thinkin that we were just getting closer to him to straighten things out with sun cuz we showed sun the lil bump?

a more in-depth reason is Moon feels frustrated with not just y/n but Sun as well. (He and Sun had an argument just before the lights went out, his frustrations from this carry over as he gets answers from you whether you realize it or not.)

further spoiler-ish things ahead...

You've been seeing him trying and being on his best behavior around you. His first chance to be around you is while Sun left you crying. Moon is a flawed being and unhealthy ways of regulating his emotions are bound to spring up. He called you to cheer himself up. Something you said or did got to him (reminded him of his argument with Sun).

Sun's taking the cheap way when it comes to things, he's avoiding the problem. To someone like Moon who prefers to take the direct and straightforward path he sees this whole reaction from Sun as childish and frustrating, they're supposed to be adults after all.

Moon wants answers and he's frustrated with what he's been piecing together. To him, you as Sun are being idiots and thrusting him into the middle of a situation already going downhill.

He's been watching passively through Sun's eyes till now. Now he's paying attention. Close attention to you as Sun throws his temper tantrums over you leaving. Moon doesn't want you to leave either, but he's looking for the WHY.

I’m asking this because both me and my lovely editor have really been dragging our feet on editing the story come this new year. I know it’s been a hot second.

I have the story finished but the rest is still left unedited. You want that shit raw? Or are ya’ll willing to be patient with us for a more cleaned up version?
