so you'll never guess what i started playing >:3 i'm still in the very early stages of the game (in the "vor's prize" quest i think), and i was curious which of the three initial warframes you started with, and which overall is your favorite to play? i've started with volt and having a blast ngl 👀

Okay so Volt? Excellent choice, Volt is so fun. I didn't get him til later, but I really like playing him.

I started with Mag!! I love her magnetic abilities and her design is just so cool <3

My overall favourite to play and I can't recommend her enough: Titania. She's a fairy queen and I love her. Her 4th ability basically shrinks her tiny and she has her own pixie guns she uses to absolutely MOW people down. She's one of a few frames in the game that can fly. It's incredibly fun to be tiny and zip across the battlefield with said tiny pixie guns and BAP BAP BAP. And her survivability is insanely good because it's really hard to hit such a tiny target. Plus her design is just gorgeous.

Last song - "the third sanctuary" from deltarune (people avoiding spoilers, don't click that link). i've been listening to the ost nonstop since it came out, and i can't rec undertale/deltarune highly enough to anyone, even if it doesn't seem like your kind of game. it is everybody's kind of game!!

Favorite Colors - if you saw me in real life, the waist-length pink hair would give it away. i like bold bright colors on black, which is how i dress. wait here's an outfit post

Currently watching - technically i'm in the middle of doing the entire star trek franchise with @maulthots but we took a break to do da2 together instead. we're going back and forth. i'm also watching leverage redemption s3 with @machidielontheway! it's way better than the first two seasons so far.

Last movie - uhhhhh jesus what was my last movie...i think it was when i rewatched tron legacy a couple of weeks ago at like 3am. fav movie of all time and may daft punk rest in peace. the sequel isn't out yet but i know it will be an affront to god nature and the sensibility of the universe.

Sweet, Savory or Sour - i LOVE savory foods, i've gotta be in the mood for sweet foods but i love sweet beverages, and i dislike sour a lot. sensory issues.

Currently reading - i have a bunch of fanfics i need to catch up on...my alerts are piling up lol. i'm trying to leave more comments on fics besides my Absolute Favorites but that means i can't read unless i'm also in the headspace to comment, so. however one of my Absolute Favorites that is updating rn is seven places to kiss in the lighthouse by @itsrainingpandas - i like everything in this series so much, i like this rook so much, i like this illario so much!!!!! it's all so fucking tasty, everyone please go read this series, this is one of my fav rooks (along with lydia, ofc). i also really liked greater coverts by @loquaciousquark, who is not only my favorite fenhawke writers of all time no contest but just one of my favorite writers Ever and i did a fucking backflip when she posted rookanis. i don't know if i could ever become a solas girlie but if anybody could convert me it would be her, bc she already successfully converted me into a sebastian enjoyer via this fic.

Current obsession - DRAGON AGE. with a minor side of deltarune, which, again, everyone everyone EVERYONE should play deltarune and undertale, you are cheating yourselves otherwise. i can't honestly say everyone should play dragon age. i think getting invested in dragon age is an emotionally tumultuous process. that said i am NOT leaving i like it here.

Currently working on - i have a rookanis fanfic (as of yet untitled, link is to the tag with excerpts) which is nearing the end of act 1 and it's already 55k words :/ it's a sequel to the ossuary, which is a lucanis and spite fic about their time in underwater jail (and only 52k words, which, ha ha). i'm really proud of that fic even though the tags understandably scare a lot of people off lol. i've been really excited to work on the sequel except for how i keep going through periods of "i'm bad at this and i should give up and move to antarctica" but i'm working on that. i'm working on it!!!!!!

How I feel about this character: I think she's pretty cool when she's not being a dick to Tekehu I wish she and her arc was handled differently tho

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Xoti, their dynamic is very sweet and I do enjoy playing matchmaker with them. But from what I've seen, her romance with the Watcher also seems fun and intriguing - especially if the Watcher is not allied with the RDC, there is some juicy potential there. My non-romantic OTP for this character: Serafen, their banters are great, they are fun together, they have fun together, they have a ton in common and I do like the way they try to grapple with liking one another despite being enemies under normal circumstances. But also Kana, obviously, they are very cute, I wish we got to see them interact more I wish Deadfire had more Kana in it in general tbh. My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't know if I have any? One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Maia leaving the navy seemed like a very obvious endpoint of her arc (to me at least I guess) if you take the more RDC-critical route with her, so it's pretty weird to me that… that's not how it ends.

This is sooo indulgent and tbh not really something I'd expect in the next patch but rather something I'd like to see eventually, but I'd really love the option to go to sleep with your love interest 🥺

When I played DAO i had a mod that let you choose who were going to sleep with and then it played a little animation of the two of you lying down together, and it felt so sweet and really made the relationships feel real to me! And like idk, BG3 has some really good sexy time scenes but I think it could use some extra love in the "quiet mundane love" area

ooohh that would sooo cute 🥺🥺 i agree i think more repeatable actions like the kisses would be a fun little addition! like ik the game’s purpose isn’t necessarily dating sim lol but there are definitely stretches in game where the romance just kinda runs out so i think smth like that would help the realness of it for sure. not even just for romance but for friendships too! it’s why i rly want the option to hug everyone 😭

Vivienne - sorry, I love me a powerful woman who knows how to play within the constraints of the system, rise to power, and fight to change things for the better in her own way

Cassandra Penteghast - *disgusted noise* need I say more. I love her.

I recently started replaying DA2, and I was wondering if you knew where Ser, Serah, and Messere come from? "Messere" almost sounds italian to me, and "Ser" to me just sounds like a fancier "sir", but I've never heard Serah in anything before. I also don't really remember them saying it in DA:I and I'm almost certain they never say it in DA:O. Is it maybe a Kirkwall-specific thing?

Upon looking into it -

Messere is a spelling variant of meser, an Old Occitan equivalent of “mister,” meaning a title or form of address for a man in respect

Serah is a spelling variant of sirrah, an archaic term used to address someone inferior

Ser is probably just a gender-neutral “sir” as you said

I have heard it in DA:I, though not much. And in DA:O we also did have characters like Ser Otto for example.
