Stopping someone in the middle of what was currently going on probably was not the brightest idea, but Kinu couldn’t help but reach out to those she felt were similar to her. Suddenly standing in front of the boy who kept jumping from building from building (maybe to avoid the chaotic streets), she greeted him with a huge grin. 

   “Shishishi, I’m so happy I found someone like me!”

Whoever that Sun Wukong facsimile heading Neptune’s way is, it doesn’t matter; it’s not Sun. It can’t be him. His phone was deactivated out of nowhere, and he disappeared before Neptune could even say goodbye. In a way, it’s nice, knowing he’s probably back with Scarlet and Sage and all their old friends still locked in Remnant, but it also brings a deep feeling of sadness && loneliness to the pit of the boy’s stomach. He misses his best friend. Without him, he feels completely alone.

          And yet -- and yet -- 

The stranger approaches and looks increasingly like Sun, and the bottom of Neptune’s stomach drops out. His face splits into an expression of pure joy, and he starts toward the faunus, reaching instinctively to give him a rough but playful shove.

      ❝Sun! You idiot, you had me thinking you’d disappeared.❞ He laughs, slightly nervously, slightly in relief.  ❝Why’s your phone off? Where’ve you been all this time? I was --❞

— After a while of incessant wandering, one begins to wonder. And when you were Nora Valkyrie, you wondered a lot. Thoughts about her situation, about Beacon, about the team flittered through her head at hyperspeed, all jumbling together into a big congealed mass about how she hoped she wasn't going to fail any classes, or accidentally cause Ren to have a heart attack from her absence. Then again, that was every other day, so it's not like it'd be too different! Well, it would be different, because she wouldn't be there. But maybe if he showed up too, then--

Nora-esque thoughts coming to an abrupt halt, bright eyes locked onto a familiar figure. Could it be...? Yes, it was! 

Well, it wasn't Ren, but it was somebody from home!

Said poor individual would now have the unfortunate luck of having the hyperactive teen practically zoom over to them, right behind the much taller boy's frame before she finally burst into one of her usual abrupt strings of speech which would no doubt shock the poor Faunus.

❝ No. Way. Can you BELIEVE it? I had no idea there was going to be anybody else from Remnant here! Isn't this just the coolest? I mean, I bet everybody's gonna go nuts looking for us, but at least we're having fun, right?!
