Releasing a sharp breath, Hux undoes his belt and the hidden clasps of his tunic with trembling hands, pulling off his undershirt with one hand.

Kylo’s stomach sinks.

The rash has spread from the bug bite at his nape, the purple boils extending to Hux’s forearms and halfway down his torso, the skin around them red and broken where Hux must have scratched them behind Kylo’s back. No signs of progress up or around Hux’s throat; but gut feeling says it’s a matter of yet.

They need to get Hux into the medbay before that happens.
