Ok, so on Earth Sunday!Mc as Mc has been the older sibling of four children, the oldest of the four was 5 years younger than Mc.
Their parents loved them but their father died and their mother worked all day and night until she eventually died of exhaustion. So MC, who was 17 at the time, worked and worked and worked. They barely ate, instead giving all the food to their little siblings. They didn’t go to college either (they dropped out of their last year of high school)
And then they discovered it… they were dying of exhaustion, lack of food, and overworking themself.
But they kept going.
And then when their youngest sibling had graduated college and moved into an apartment, Mc retreated to their home. They had not shared their dying state with their siblings.
Slowly, one by one, their siblings stopped visiting.
And Mc died alone, laying in bed, finally too exhausted to get up.

Ok, that’s Sunday!Mc’s past

Maybe when the express gets to Amphoreus they aren’t rude persay to Sunday!Mc but they aren’t warm or welcoming either. They don’t like how similar he looks to THEIR Sunday!Mc, not knowing that the Halovian in front of them was the one who had died for them.
Oh gosh, can you imagine them having to inform Robin of Sunday!Mc’s ‘death’?
I imagine Robin initially thought it was a joke/cruel prank but then she saw how angry and solemn and sad they looked and she BROKE.
She screamed, cried, she shook the Trailblazer and kept asking ‘Why didn’t you save him!!’, she glared at Himeko, she snarled at Dan Heng, she nearly slapped March 7th, and when she had been dragged into a hug by Welt she had hit his chest before eventually dissolving into sobs.
He was dead.
Her beloved brother was DEAD.
The same one who wove flower crowns for her.
The one who encouraged her.
The one who soothed her when the nightmares arrived.
The one who was always there.
But now he was DEAD and she didn’t even have a body to mourn.
The Express Understood, of course they did.
So they just held her as she finally collapsed.

Gosh can you even imagine Phainon/Flame Reaver/Khaslana’s reaction each time he kills Sunday!Mc?
I imagine that’d he would want to cry each time no matter how many cycles go by. I also imagine that he’d want to fall to his knees and cling to Sunday!Mc while begging for forgiveness, but he can’t, because he doesn’t deserve it
So Amphoreus becomes real in mere minutes because of Sunday!Mc’s Halovian abilities mixed with lingering Harmony and Destruction???????
Also I bet when everything is over he’s just standing there staring at the sunrise. He’s frozen, he doesn’t know what to do next. He can’t feel much (pain, emotion, physical/mental stuff, etc.) and all food just tastes like ash in his mouth (but he always pretends).
He had been on autopilot and he remembered each cycle perfectly, he had never forgotten them when he woke up, his memories had never been erased like everyone else’s… he’s exhausted.
He wants to fall asleep and never wake up…

Also I used ‘THEIR Sunday!Mc’ very deliberately because for some reason I can see The Astral Express being slightly protective/possessive of their own if that makes sense???

I don’t know when or how they would realize that Sunday!Mc is THEIR Sunday!Mc so feel free to add that too!

...ah, as always, hearing about a MC's past on earth is heartbreaking. Like, someone punching my heart over and over kind of heartbreaking.
He died alone?! Did his little siblings really didn't noticed something was wrong?! They stopped visiting him?! Shame on them! Shame!
And the Nameless, no! That Sunday!MC is YOUR Sunday!MC! Open your damn eyes and LOOK!
At this rate, he's gonna reenact his first death and die alone... die a fucking 3rd time! A 3rd time! And I don't think he's gonna be lucky (if you can call reincarnating lucky) a 4th time...
As for if and when the Astral Express realizing Sunday!MC was THEIR Sunday!MC, I want to say they realize after Amphoreus becomes real... but the angsty part of me say they don't and leave Amphoreus without looking back...
