synopsis: enemies to lovers. Sunghoon and you have a love hate relationship, but one night sunghoon can’t sleep because he’s thinking of you. Was it because you irritated him? or because of some other reason?

sunghoon had his last class with Karina, she thought this was her chance to sit next to him and start something, “hey” she said sitting down as sunghoon looks up from his book glancing at her “hey” he replied giving her a small smile looking back down at his book again. Karina didn’t know how to start a conversation with sunghoon, he was a very nice guy with everyone, everyone but y/n. She cleared her throat “Sooo~” Karina says awkwardly “you’re friends with y/n right?” she said hoping that can start a conversation “we’re not, don’t bring her up please, my friends are always talking about her and it’s so annoying” he said as Karina pushed her lips together nodding “sorry” she said quietly “don’t be” he said as the professor walked in and class begun. After forty-five minutes the bell rang indicating that class has ended. You were just two classes down from Karina’s class and quickly walked over to her class and stood outside the room waiting for your best friend, “hey babe” you heard someone say as you looked up to see your ex Sunwoo “Dont call me that sunwoo, leave me alone” You say annoyed wanting karina to walk out already “We had such a good thing, i miss you baby” He said getting closer to you tucking your hair behind your ear “Yeah well maybe you should’ve thought about that before cheating on me” You say trying to push him back but he was too strong that he didn’t even move. “Sunwoo back up!”
“hopefully this professor doesn’t give out too much homework” Karina said putting her book away in her bag “i hope so thats why i joined his class i read the reviews on him” Sunghoon said getting up pushing in his chair, “oh same here ! why don’t we exchange phone numbers to help each other out” Karina said with a tint of red on her cheeks but as soon as sunghoon got up he noticed you by the door completely ignoring Karina, he saw you with your ex boyfriend (who for some reason he hated, but sunghoon just says sunwoo is full of himself and well…annoying) and how uncomfortable you looked trying to back away and push him away “sunghoon??” karina said waving her hand in front of his face and turning to see what he was looking at, You. “uh sure, ask y/n for it, i got to go” he said quickly putting his bag on his shoulder walking away, Karina stood there embarrassed watching him walk to the door, grabbing y/n’s hand and walking away. She stood there confused seeing him hold your hand.
“Sunwoo leave me alone” you said getting frustrated, “why don’t we go hang out later, we can sneak out?” Sunwoo asked with a devilish smile, you roll your eyes at his comment as someone grab your hand pushing sunwoo away from you “She doesn’t want to hang put with you bro” sunghoon said in a deep tone you’ve never heard before, “lets go y/n” sunghoon said walking past sunwoo bumping into his shoulder with you following close behind, you looked down to see your hand intertwined with sunghoon’s hand and feeling something in your stomach but pushing it aside thinking of your relief of being saved from that situation. Eventually getting out of sunwoo’s sight he dropped your hand, making you feel empty once again “uh thanks sunghoon” you say feeling embarrassed “what did that asshole want anyway?” he said looking down to you meeting your eyes “he was just being annoying saying that he missed me, you know how he is” you say breaking eye contact clearing your throat “well uh let me know if he bothers you again” He said walking past you, leaving you alone in the empty study hall, Sunghoon had his good moment with you and when he did you always felt your stomach turning like if he was someone you never met, forgetting that you hated him . You shrug walking back to your room forgetting about it, “Karina~~” you say as you open the door happily walking into the room, you see karina sitting by her computer turning to you giving you a small smile, you felt something was off with her not greeting you the way she always does “Whats up?” you ask her worried, she shrugged “nothing” she said getting up “ima go take a walk with jihan ! i’ll be right back” she added closing her book walking past you “Okay?” you said to yourself as she closed the door. You knew eventually she would tell you. You put your stuff down and grab clean clothes to go wash up, when you finish hear Karina in the room again indicating that shes back, “okay what’s up kari? why are you upset?” you ask drying your hair with your towel, she sighs “i needed time to think this through before telling you, but okay listen to this” she said sitting at the edge of her bed looking at you “i think sunghoon likes you??” she said sounding like she was questioning it, you let out a laugh “Kari quit playing around” you say as you continued laughing, “y/n im being so serious” she said with a straight face, “Kari im being serious too ! he doesn’t! trust me” You say shaking your head “Y/n ! i saw the way he looked at you earlier today when i was talking to him… he just stared at you and sunwoo, he looked upset” Karina said following you with her eyes as you walked around the room putting your towel up to dry “he doesn’t like sunwoo, thats why” you said brushing it off “y/n you’re being so oblivious ! even jake and jay think it, they told me. Last time they made a comment about you that day you wore a skirt and sunghoon got mad at them and told them to never speak of you like that” Karina said “no he just doesn’t like me being in their conversation, he hates me” you said trying to convince karina “you’re so dumb y/n” she said throwing a stuffed bear at you, as you tucked yourself in bed.
“Sunghoon?” Jake calls to sunghoon laying in bed spaced out staring at the ceiling“you okay dude?” he asks, sunghoon grunts sitting up “im just so confused jake” he said staring straight ahead as jake stood by the side drying his wet hair with his towel “you can talk to me hoon” Sunghoon turned to face jake standing on the other side of the room “okay so lets say this person is stuck in my head and i can’t stand the fact that someone else wants them again-” jake cuts him off “so you like them” sunghoon shook his head “but i can’t ! it doesn’t make sense ! we can’t date, they probably don’t even like me either!” sunghoon says throwing himself back into his bed. Jake stands there placing the pieces together, “is this about y/n?” he says nervously peeking at sunghoon side eyeing him not saying a word “oh my god it is, isn’t it” he said letting out a laugh covering his mouth “that he likes y/n?” Jay says stepping out the bathroom after washing up as well. “Can you guys shut up, just forget about it” sunghoon says annoyed “i knew from the moment you started picking on her like a kid in elementary school who has a crush on someone” jay says as jake laughs along “they were always pretty, ain’t no way you would randomly call them ugly” jake says as sunghoon stares at them feeling embarrassed “alright i get it ! now leave me alone” he says getting up as it was his turn to use the bathroom. “Aww our hoonie finally admits to liking someone, and that someone being y/n” they say teasing him as he pushes them out the way “Go for it sunghoon, seriously! we’re rooting for you” jay says giving him a reassuring smile “ima get something to eat be right back” Jay says as jake follows along closing the door.
Later that night you couldn’t sleep, you tossed and turned and all you could think about was what Karina said. You angrily got out of bed and sneaked out the room trying not to wake up karina, you quietly make your way to the boys side of the building hiding from the dean walking the halls. You safely and quietly make it to sunghoon’s door and quickly go in closing it behind you “you guys are back already?” sunghoon says from his closet backing up to see you at the door, he was wearing nothing but his boxers you gasp slapping your hands on your eyes to block the view “sunghoon i need to talk to you, can you please change” you say with your back facing him “what are you doing here? if the dean sees you in here you’re gonna get in big trouble” he said exaggerating the big “yeah well so are you!” you say turning back facing him as he’s still standing there in his boxers “i wont, you will be the one explaining to them since you’re the one in the boys dorm” he says laying on the couch not caring to change “Sunghoon i can’t have a conversation with you half naked!” you say picking up a shirt from the floor and walking up to him stretching your arm out to hand the shirt to him, but he wraps his hand around your wrist and pulls you on top of him wrapping his legs around you and his arms around your neck holding you close to him as you yell for him to let you go “helpppp ! someone get her off me” Sunghoon yells joking as you try to wiggle out of his hold “Sunghoon let me go ! you’re so annoying” You say as he continues to yell “shes obsessed with me someone get this crazy freak off me” he says yelling “quit yelling someone will hear you” you say sticking your tongue out to lick him in the face for him to let you go, as soon as you do jake walks into the room closing the door “what the fuck?! what are you doing” he says standing by the door eyes wide in pure shock “nothing! nothing!” you say as sunghoon lets you go with a smirk you get up fixing yourself clearing your throat “i was just on my way out” you say slightly moving jake so you can open the door but he stops you “No! you can’t! the dean is out there checking the rooms” he says as you feel your heart drop and start to panic “oh my god what am i gonna do ! help me sunghoon” you say worried standing in front of him “jump out the window we’re only-” he stops and peeks out the window “-three floors up” he says not taking you seriously “do you want me to die!?” you say screaming in a low tone “please help me” you say desperately as you hear foot steps coming closer.
The door handle jiggles “Gentlemen open this door right now” you hear the dean say from the other side of the door, you slap your hand to your mouth looking back and forth between jake and sunghoon “hide” jake says panicking, sunghoon grabs your hand quickly pulling you to his bed hiding you under his bed sheets, as he gets in as well “i sleep without underwear” he says as he sets his boxers next to the night table by your head “sunghoon really?! you’re so gross” you say as he covers your head with the duvet covers, he nods to jake and thats his cue to open the door, “Why was the door closed” the dean says making his way in “you know it’s against the rules to lock the doors to your rooms” he says sternly looking around the room as sunghoon stretches and makes an exaggerated yawn laying his leg on top of your body making you want to scream but you hold it in shutting your eyes covering your mouth “now answer the question, why was the door locked?” the dean asked once again as jake went uhh trying to think of something but sunghoon spoke up “sir we are grown men in our early twenties we have urges and we have to, you know steam it off by watching por-” sunghoon says calmly before the dean cuts him off “Okay ! i get it, no need to continue” the dean says shaking his head “next time go into your bathroom or something sunghoon, you can’t lock the door it’s school rules ” the dean adds looking at the mess of clothes on the floor “what is this mess, why are there clothes and paper on the floor and why is there a boxer on the night stand” he points out “well jay you know he loves his fashion so he’s always leaving a mess trying to find a perfect outfit” jake quickly replies and with that jay walks in “whats going on?” he says confused looking at everyone “nothing, now i want this mess cleaned up and then i want you all to go to sleep” the dean says leaving as you jump out of the bed hearing the door close “y/n?” jay says confused “whats going on?” you quickly make your way to the door ready to leave “wait what did you wanna ask me?” Sunghoon says as you turn around to face him quickly regretting it seeing him butt naked in front of you, you let out a yell “sunghoon what the fuck put on some clothes !” you say opening the door “whos out there!” the dean says as you shut the door running back to sunghoon’s bed with him jumping on top of you going back to the position you guys were in. The dean opens the door “whats all this noise!?” he says looking at the three boys as jake secretly signals jay to keep quiet “Go to bed” he says sternly closing the door and they all let out a sigh of relief.
The next morning after sneaking back to your room you woke up getting ready to go out to your parents house since it was the weekend. “I’ll see you monday kari” you say to her kissing her on the cheek as she gets ready to leave for the weekend as well “byee~ love you” she responds to you “love you” you say closing the door making your way to the lobby, You run into sunghoon and can’t look at him in the eye after last nights event and thinking about what karina said to you. “Hey” you say to him looking at your phone “Your going home? “ he asks as you nod “yeah, and you?” you felt so awkward around sunghoon. “same here, my mom wanted me home this weekend for my sisters birthday” as you nod again in response “is your mom picking you up?” he turns to face you “no i’m gonna get a cab” you say getting ready to book the cab on your phone “I can give you a ride if you like” sunghoon says warmly “I mean you do live down the block” you think about it for a second “Sure, i could save myself some money” you say “i never said it was free” sunghoon said looking at you with a straight face, “Just kidding y/n !” he says picking up your duffle bag from in front of you
The afternoon went by quick after your drive with sunghoon and right when you got home your mom told you to get ready to head to the Park’s home for that party sunghoon was mentioning to you. You walked down the block following your parents, arriving to sunghoon’s door ringing the door bell giving it a couple seconds before sunghoon opens the door and he greets your parents as he ignores you causing you to roll your eyes “prick” you whisper softly for him to hear as he slightly pushes you. You greet his parents and his sister hugging her, as well as waving to the other guests not knowing who they were, you sit on the couch for a good five minutes on your phone before sunghoon’s mom makes her way to you “why dont you go upstairs with sunghoon, hes in his room” she says gently “oh no its okay” you say nervously waving your hands “Sunghoon! “ she yells loud enough for him to hear as he comes down the stairs “yes mom?” he asks looking at his mom in front of you “why dont you take y/n up to your room” she says tapping your back to get up as sunghoon responds with a straight face “i guess” he says casually heading back up “go on sweetheart” she says nicely giving you a smile and walking away, you sigh getting nervous to see sunghoon but you did want to clear your thoughts and just ask him to get the awkwardness out of the way, making it up the stairs you knock on his door, “come in dick head” you hear sunghoon say as you roll your eyes in annoyance “what if that was your mom and not me” you say walking in and closing the door “i knew you were coming up dumbass“ he says focused on his video game, He was sitting on a bean bag in front of his tv with his headset on “yeah y/n is here” he says into his mic “Jake and Jay say hi” he said as you walk over to him and crouch down to his level and talk into the mic “hi guys! i miss you already” you say as sunghoon turns to face you, your faces only inches away you freeze looking into his eyes then his lips, you could’ve sworn he got a tint of red on his cheeks but you were worried he might’ve seen you blushing as well. Quickly backing away you get up and walk over to his bed sitting down letting out a breath you were holding, you lay back and stare at the ceiling it, after a couple minutes of you being on your phone it wasn't long after you hear sunghoon say “ima go now, talk to you guys later”, you quickly lock your phone dropping it next to you pretending to be asleep shutting your eyes quickly.
Sunghoon walks over to you, they’re so pretty sleeping he thought to himself. Ever since he saw you with sunwoo again he realized he felt jealousy even when you were in the relationship he hated seeing you with someone else, he stayed up thinking about it even when his friends talked about how pretty you were or he heard the guys in his grade talk about you in class he would get so annoyed that they had those kinds of thoughts towards you. He doesnt know when he started liking you but he came to a realization that he liked you maybe even loved you after all these years. He walked over to his closet grabbing a blanket to cover you, he felt warm butterflies in his stomach admiring you as he moved a strand of hair away that rested on your face, finally covering you with the blanket He sighed walking to his desk.
“Sunghoon?” you say softly making him jump “yeah?” he says quietly facing you as you sit up feeling the butterflies in your stomach getting nervous to ask him “remember how i wanted to ask you something the other night” You say as he nods “well dont take this the wrong way or anything but its been in my head for the past two days” you say looking down at your hands “y/n just spit it out already” sunghoon says rolling the chair he was sitting on front of his bed getting closer to you “Is sunwoo bothering you again?” He asks concerned “no no” you say shaking your head “I was talking to Karina the other day and she may have mentioned that uh-” you say peeking through your lashes to look up at him nervously as he raises an eyebrow at you “she said you… like me?” you say giving him a questioning look as he freezes not knowing what to say. You both sit there staring at each other in silence for a good minute until you see him sigh as he closes his eyes and opens them staring back at you “dont get mad at me i did-” He cuts you off “y/n i do like you” Sunghoon says as you sat there in shock but deep down you were so relived you weren't the only one with those feelings “since when” you asked him “i’m not sure since when but i just came to realize it” he says mumbling, you blush looking down.
He gets up and stands in front of you “do you feel the same about me” you hear him say nervously for the first time in your life, you try to contain your blush but you couldn't feeling your cheeks get warm as you shly smile looking up to sunghoon nodding, and he breaks into a smile seeing his dimple appear as he cups your face “can i kiss you right now?” he asks “please” you respond smiling as he bends down closer to you bringing your face closer to his as he gives you a kiss “y/n i think i have loved you all this time” he says quietly “aww hoonie” you say feeling your heart flutter as you caressed his cheek “you don’t have to say it back now” he says going back in for a longer kiss, turning it to a make out session he leans you back as you lay on the bed with him in between your legs feeling his length growing, your tongues going against each other making him suck your tongue as you played with his hair tightening your legs together to bring him closer earning a groan from him, both quickly start to lose your breath pulling away as he rests his forehead against yours, staring into your eyes. A knock interrupting and not even a second later it opens “Sunghoon mom said to -” you both turn your heads to see his sister standing there in disgust “what the fuck! really hoon!” she says covering her eyes causing you to blush in embarrassment “you didn’t even give me time to say come in!!” he said anoyed “mom said to come downstairs we’re gonna cut the cake” she said slamming the door “we’ll continue this later, tell your mom you’re spending the night” he says kissing you again as you laugh getting up fixing your now wrinkly skirt, sunghoon grabs your hand intertwining them giving you butterflies and makes his way downstairs with you.
