Emmerdale 16.05.24 Part 2

After Aaron had informed him of Caleb gunning for revenge on Ethan, Cain shows up at Caleb's place to stop him taking things too far when he finds Ethan being detained there.

Cain's timing was impeccable as Caleb was close to losing it as Ethan was trying to defend his actions and battering Ethan with a bat but Cain manages to talk him down.

Aaron has arrived at the hospital with the food parcel from Moria to find only Suni at Nicky's bedside after a bit of awkward small talk. Aaron offers to stay a while as he can see Suni is struggling. Aaron has been in this situation himself with love ones & understands what he is going through.

Aaron offers Suni a ear and listens as Suni pours out his anxiety about Nicky's condition Aaron tries to be encouraging and shows support and empathy, the shoots of a friendship may have been planted in the midst of the circumstances.

Aaron opens up to Suni about what he went through as he lost his sister and is able to take some comfort from the fact he was at least there when it mattered and encourages Suni to hang in there. Suni offers his sympathy to Aaron for what happened to Liv.

Caleb returns to the hospital to find Aaron there, Aaron says his goodbyes and heads away apparently back to work, Caleb thanks him for talking to Cain telling him he won't forget what he did for him. Aaron bonds with his uncle for the first time but under sad circumstances and it was a tough triggering day for Aaron reliving bad memories.

Does that mean nicky and suni's portmanteau is...uh....'sicky'? Sucky? Nini?

I never even considered a name for them.

They've not exactly got the best of names to play with. Is Nunky acceptable? Or Sinky? I hope not 😬

Maybe their surnames might work best. Shingle? Maybe not considering it's the name of a virus. Perhaps Dirma? Sharmingle? I personally think Sharmingle is funnier to say out loud so I vote for that one.

Robron was so much easier to combine. Another reason why we need them back. They'll teach Suni and Nicky to pair up with people with easier matched names 😂

Emmerdale 08.05.24

Caleb is fuming at the pile of manure outside his house courtesy of Moria and is demanding Nicky get it cleared. Nicky is complaining about being made to do it as Aaron comes out and while he is amused by the whole thing he wants it cleared as well.

Nicky is frustrated and being asked to get the mess cleared up by his father, Aaron acknowledges it's a two man job but when Nicky asks if he's going to help him Aaron declined to do so with a big fat hell no! Aaron leaves him to it still finding the whole thing entertaining.

Following a row with his father, Caleb. An upset Nicky seeks out his boyfriend Suni and Aaron also present, Nicky is upset his father's treatment of him and has a rant as Aaron points out living rent free with his parents is quite child no wonder his father treats him like a lackey giving Nicky food for thought.

Suni offers Nicky a solution move in with him, Nicky is talked into it and agrees it's a good idea as Aaron looks on. Nicky is now pleased with himself and looking forward to the future, which always proceeds disaster in Soapland!

Emmerdale 20.12.23

Aaron heads into the Hide & tries to order a drink but is met with hostility from Ethan, Charles & friends Nicky & Suni. Charles demands an apology from Aaron for his son & believes he should be grovelling at his mother's feet. Aaron let's them have their say then leaves.

Later, Aaron goes into the café, he again is met with hostility & judgement from the locals and Paddy gives him the silent treatment as he sits down.

Ethan has told his father not to get involved with Aaron further so keeps his mouth shut just about, but Ethan's grandmother has her say lecturing Aaron everyone has problems but don't take it out on other people, Aaron brushes it off.

Paddy looks on as Aaron is met with continued hostility after his dressing down by Claudette but just glares at him giving him silent treatment after which Aaron realises his relationship with him is also in tatters.

Good Morning Monday - Suni and Nicky.

Mack Feels Humiliated and Claudette comes to the Rescue.

Mack was in the bar going through the books with Kerry.

"We've got a gay stag night coming in later" said Kerry "So we'll be rushed off our feet"

"Gino will just love all the attention" said Mack "Just look at him Kerry he's all over Aaron"

"It's disgusting what they've done to you Mack" said Kerry "It's the funeral tomorrow isn't it?"

Mack nodded.

"Oh come on Mack don't get upset" said Kerry giving Mack a hug.

"I'm dreading it Kerry" said Mack just as Chloe came in.

"Where's Reuben?" asked Mack.

"Amy's looking after him I've only called in for a takeaway" said Chloe.

"Is that wise" said Kerry "You were spewing your guts up this morning"

"Well this is my first meal of the day" said Chloe "I just fancied some fish and chips and Tommy's doing them especially for me"

"You're lucky he has the time" said Mack.

"Well we've got some temps in the kitchen and they are doing the takeaways through Uber Eats" said Kerry.

"So you've managed to get that up and running Kerry" said Mack "Well done"

"You should have heard Charity when she found out we were doing takeaways" laughed Kerry "Her knickers were in a right twist"

"I'm so grateful to you Kerry for sorting out the business for me" said Mack. "There will be a bonus for you"

"Well you thought of it and I made it happen. We're a team man" said Kerry.

"Just look at those two" said Chloe pointing to Aaron and Gino who were kissing. "Aaron's well into Gino. That's awful. They are deliberately doing it in front of you"

"You should see what they get up to in the office" said Kerry "They leave nothing to the inagination"

"Do they have sex in the office?" asked Mack who was wracked with jealousy"

"Aye man. They don't give a damn and I have to put up with them every night and it's nauseating believe me" said Kerry. "That stag do will be here in half an hour so I'll see you Mack. No rest for the wicked"

"Have you two no shame" said Kerry going up to Aaron and Gino "Your husband is burying his kiddies mother tomorrow and you're like two dogs on heat"

Gino looked over to Mack who was pouring himself a glass of coke but was missing the glass because he was shaking so much.

"He looks awful Aaron" said Gino "I'll go over to him"

"I feel so guilty Gino" said Aaron "He's heartbroken and I can't face him"

Gino went up to Mackenzie.

"How are you Mack?" he asked. "Let me pour that coke for you"

"How do you think I am you've stolen my husband" said Mack. "And the two of you are practically having sex in front of everyone. You said you loved me"

"I still love you" said Gino making a pass at Mack and trying to kiss him.

"Just get off me" said Mack pushing Gino away. "How can you love me when you're sleeping with my husband you have totally humiliated me"

"It's just sex with Aaron" said Gino "We both have needs Mack."

"Yes needs that I couldn't satisfy" said Mack "Do you know how that makes me feel?"

"Mack Aaron still loves you" said Gino "I might have his body but you've got his heart"

"Well if he loves me he's got a funny way of showing it" said Mack "He's totally blocked me out"

"We'll be at the funeral tomorrow Mack" said Gino "We'll see you there"

"I'm going home" Mack said as he made his way to the exit and fell down.

"Macks collapsed" shouted Nicky who was coming into the bar with Suni.

Mack tried to get up but fell down again.

"I said he looked dreadful Aaron" said Gino.

"He's getting up now" said Aaron as Suni gave Mack a glass of water and helped him up.

"I haven't been eating" said Mack who was feeling groggy "I need to get home to Isla as Claudette is looking after her"

"Make sure you eat something Mack. You've got a big day tomorrow" said Nicky just as the stag party arrived.

"Do you want us to come home with you?" asked Nicky.

"I'll be ok" said Mack "Claudette will need to get back to Charles"

Mack made his way home where Claudette was on her phone.

"That's settled then" said Claudette "I'm staying the night. Suni just rang and said you passed out"

"Aren't you afraid of what the gossips might say?" asked Mack.

"I'm not afraid of village tittle tattle" said Claudette "I'll sleep on that settee in your bedroom so I can keep an eye on you"

"It's a bed settee" said Mack.

"Even better" said Claudette "I'll go in first and I'll call you when I'm in bed"

"Maybe you could read me and Isla a story" Mack teased.

"What Lady Chatterleys Lover?" joked Claudette. "At least it got you smiling again"
