SUNILA, BRUTE OF THE BLEEDING ARCTIC

Sunila is the last of a lineage of powerful werecetaceans. She's one of the few monsters that dares to expose herself amongst the humans. She holds no fear of humans despite the dangers they pose to her kind. She can often be found engaging with humans through street fighting, a fun pass time and a good source of income for her. Human money is worthless to monsters, but Sunila can't help but to spend her money on good human clothes and food! If you ever run into Sunila on the streets, don't be afraid... Well, not too afraid. She's one of the most hospitable werebeasts out there! Even if she has a sharp, sassy attitude, she makes good company.

been a while since i last drew this gal! thought i would warm up with this piece today. i decided to add some minor changes to her design and add some asymmetry x333

16. Are they a good liar?

Depends on who you are or what the situation is. But most of the time, Sunila just can’t keep her mouth shut. She’s the kind of person that will tell her closest friends a secret someone told her, although she would be willing to lie for a close friend. She will certainly lie to save her own skin, no doubt about that. Even then, it almost never does her any good. Whenever she’s telling a lie, it’s quite easy to tell because of the way she talks— or because of the smug grin on her face. Sunila’s good at getting around, mostly due to her brawn rather than her brains.

26. How do they feel when they’re completely alone?

Sunila feels extremely frustrated when she’s completely alone. That isn’t to say she’s the most social were, unlike other moonshifters, she is quite solitary because she was never raised with a Pack. This has led to her being more of an introvert, but she does enjoy being around others even if they don’t enjoy being around her. Sunila had been orphaned at a young age, so she never developed proper social skills. On one hand, she loves be around crowds, on the other, she wants to be left alone. And this confliction leads to some pretty intense frustration.. which may lead to lashing out at her surroundings.

36. Have they ever felt grief or heartbreak?

Yes. As mentioned in the prior question, Sunila was orphaned at a young age. She is one of, if not the last cetacean moonshifter. Her father had been killed by hunters before she was born and her mother was later killed by the same hunters when she was just eight years old. Unfortunately Sunila had bore witness to her mother’s death and watched as the hunters took her skin and bones for trophies. She later learned that these hunters were fellow moonshifters— werewolves to be exact. This leads into why she holds such a strong grudge against wolves. Her grief turned into hatred, which she now feeds off relentlessly in her adult life.

i wanted to do something a little different.. a wereorca! this is sunila. she’s a human by day and a monster street fighter by night! she also likes to steal fish from fishermen 🐬 i’d like to imagine she’s well versed in her human life and likes to pick on werewolves.
