Daily Photo of Japan: The Sunkus where I've been doing all of my scanning, the one that's been open 24 hours a day, the one that's a ten minute walk from my apartment, had its last day yesterday.

Now when I'm heading home on the bus, looking for its lights to tell me I'm home, I'll be greeted instead with shuttered windows and a sign forever dimmed.

I'm really going to miss the people that worked there. They were some if the first I met in my neighborhood when I moved in a year and a half ago.
