So I am doing The Girls Gang’s latest project: Here we go, so I am a Canadian-Egyptian. And something I love about my heritage, is how rich Egyptian history is. I am proud to say I come from a country with one of the oldest histories. I know that now Egypt is not the country it used to be on the world platform, but I admire the kindness of its people even though they might not be in the best state in western eyes.

Egyptian locals will treat anyone as a brother or sister. They will invite you into their homes for one of their iconic cups of tea. Or show you where the nearest falafel cart is. There's a saying that says, " once you've tasted the water of the Nile, it will always call you back" and I believe the saying wholeheartedly.
