like that was so cool to me? i was finally not alone in this circle of people, i finally had someone to speak MY language with. and then when we finally first met in Groningen I just remember there wasn’t even time for it to be awkward, we just skipped right into listening to the album in the fucking cinema because we needed to know and then we named all the penguins in happy feet after BTR and i really didn’t want to go home. that’s just what i remember, how fun it was, and that was also my first time ever in Groningen and I remember you showing me around and showing me the big market and it just felt natural (though those selfies we took are the least natural thing i’ve seen in my entire life jfskfjds fuck we were baby DUCKS)

also i love how my first instinct wasn’t ‘i bought you an album i will send it through the post’ it was ‘no i can travel for free LET ME COME TO GRONINGEN LET’S GO’
