I almost went too far and then realized it is better to not post this on weverse even while hiding it from the artist bc that shitty company would probably make it even more difficult for her... BUT I'm fucking tired of Abyss so here's the paragraph I ended up not posting on weverse. I just need to get it off my chest, so i’m posting it on our hellsite:
Abyss... treat Sunmi better, please. She deserves so much more than digital releases and having to do commercial songs to bring money in for you. We were hoping for at least a mini-album, but we learned through her live today that it is going to be another digital release... Both Lalalay and Pporappippam were critically acclaimed and received good support from Miyane, which is all that is necessary for an artist with her career, but you considered it not good enough and she didn't get to do the album she wanted and had to follow through with another digital release (yes tail and what the flower were really amazing as well but it's not the point). Her fanbase is solid, and we will support her releases, but you can't keep denying how great she is and how her universe and creativity are what make her one of the best artists globally. The 2 tours she got to do over the many years of being under your company were both successful, which should be an indicator for you to let her release music her way and let her tour more. Also, when we do get physical releases for Sunmi, it is in so little quantity that it sells out fast and gets resold for unbelievable amounts of money, and yet we still pay these bad persons because we want to own/support Sunmi’s precious work. Supporting her is easy because she's talented, cool, nice, and close to us, but when it comes to the company, I am losing my respect for it more with every year that passes. You need to wake up and notice that she shines as bright as other stars when she gets to do her thing. I don't want to beg you because you're not worth it, but i am getting tired of you and your lack of trust in her.
