I have to say though, I’ve really appreciated the balance Noragami has with comedic relief, even during some of the worst chapters. I’ve really enjoyed seeing the gods interact with each other without their regalia present, Ebisu and Take make me laugh all the time.

And even just character development in general (gonna have explicit spoilers ahead):

Ebisu’s character arc has me in tears guys like. I know I bawled over his death in s2 (anime vers because I sucked and picked up with the manga where the show left off lol) but the entire thing about his relationship with reincarnation has changed, and how he’s valuing his life so young, where the past Ebisu realized it too late... listening to the past Ebisu speak in the video... I’m just so fucking weak for him

Mizuchi too... I’ve always hated her, but now getting to see her grow a bit more... I kind of just really want a redemption arc for her, and I hope that she’s happy in the end. Yukine and Hiyori made a very important impression on her, I think. I hope she realizes that she’s important to other people, but not to her father. And I hope she uses that realization to become independent from him. I think she’s heading in that direction, but it’s a bit too soon to tell.

Lastly, if Hiyori dies. I’m going BONKERS.
