Introduction Post

Heyyyy! My friend's been suggesting I make a Hollow Knight/Silk Song Rp blog for a while, so I finally gave in! I didn't want to make a lore-important or heavy character blog, so I decided to go with a shade of a hollow child. (Not Ghost or The Knight, for the record. Separate character in this context.)

I'm open for asks and RPs! I'm fine with almost everything except NSFW, as the character this blog is meant to portray is a child. Other than that, fire away! I love roleplays and don't mind angst!

Also please know I have anxiety worse than a startled cat when it comes to these types of things. I mean no harm but also am convinced everyone wants to smack me with hammers until I get comfortable./lh

Instead, the shade crouches down and picks up the mask, gently removing it from the severed head and cradling the mask close. It then looks at Hornet.

Black teardrops drip onto red fabric. At first one, then a few more, then enough to leave a stain as the shade lets itself feel. "Hollow" be damned, how long had it been since they'd had a hug?

Had everyone ever hugged them at all?

It stands there for a moment, its eyes narrowing as it takes in the appearance of the nosk. No longer did it wear the mask of the shade's sister. No, this insult was much, much more personal.

Alas, it did seem that the nosk wore the mask of the shade's vessel.

The shade grits its nonexistent teeth for a moment, trying to keep its calm. Now that it knows for sure the imposter has the mask, it only needs to get the mask.

We need not fight. All I want is my vessel's mask and weapon back so that I may put them to rest.

Button was my vessel. I am not them, but you will respect them. And you can start by returning their mask and weapon to me.

The nosk is fast, but the shade is just as quick. Their own wooden button is thrown through the air fast enough to knock the metal one off course.

They used the chance to spin around, building up speed with their own weapon and aiming to slam it into the nosk.

This very quickly proved to be the wrong thing to say, though, as the shade flicked the silk and pulled the button back into it's hands.

Only to immediately slam it over the Nosk's head in retaliation for the taunt.

It swung its body around again, holding the button like a disc as it tried to hit the nosk with the edge of it.

And, while the shade is stunned, the button is caught and hurled downwards.

Their scream of pain echoes off the cavern walls around them. A shade writhing in pain as it forces itself to take form again.

It hurts so much.

It hurts it hurts it hurts.

The scream echoes but they're sure nobody would hear.

(The nosk was right. They were sure of it.

Their sister would not care, would she?)

It raises a hand. Bone. Sharp claws, unnatural on the small form it had taken on.

Adrenaline hits when it hears its sister's voice and silk sting the air.

She came. Hornet.

It's the only thing it can think for a second as it watches the chaos unfold, the nosk getting tangled up in the silk. The shade's body reforms into something solid and tangible, no longer just void having given up.

It grabs its weapon again and jumps to help its sister, aiming to get on the nosk's back and get its string around the throat.

With the nosk and the shade so close together, it's hard to miss the details. It's hard to miss the anger in the shade's voice, and it's hard to miss how both the mask the nosk wore and the shade that now strangled it had the same distinct twisted horns.

It killed Button. It killed my vessel.
