It can get sooooo frustrating! Do you hate opening TSRW for the umpteenth time yet?

I hate opening my game for the umpteenth time since the stockings don’t show up in TSRW, and my game takes roughly half an hour to load from I first click the launcher to I’m in my small CAS-world... If I could see what I was doing in TSRW it wouldn’t be too bad!

1.) What was the last movie you saw?

The Devil’s Hand. I don’t usually go to the theatres, and someone told me it was decent.

2.) What was the last song you listened to? Thank you for Loving me by Bon Jovi... My favourite song.

4.) What was the last book you read? I just finished rereading the Harry Potter series for the upteenth time. I dunno what to read next.


5.) What was the last thing you ate? Microwaved hot dogs with mustard and mayo. I need to go grocery shopping. >.>


6.) If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? Back home with my two best friends and my adorable little niece. Somewhere where I’m not getting judged constantly by my mother-in-law.


7.) If you could pick a decade to travel back to in time, what would it be? The 20s would be my choice post 1900, but honestly, I’d love to go back to Ancient Greece. Mostly cause that was my faavourite history to learn about in school.  


8.) If you won the lotto & millions in cash, what would be the first thing you would do? Pay off allllllll my student debt! Then go do whatever I wanted to do.


9.) Which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day? Really hard choice. But, I would have to go with Hermione Granger..

Whew! Was Mommy as drunk as the rest of her family there? Nice to see Eleanor dish it back to Mommy Dearest there. And how does she feel about her father? Other than as her Martini-Machine.

No, Helen had just the one glass of wine with dinner. Like Justin, she only drinks in moderation.

The Hawthorne family life was difficult to convey in a visiting scenario like this, especially in regards to Andrew, who has simply checked out of the whole thing, from the beginning. He has never had much of a presence in his daughter’s life, he was rarely around and even when he was, he wasn’t really there. So he kind of is just a martini machine at this point.

What Bill wants is a question he’s been asking himself lately. Kind of a midlife crisis issue. 

The reason he never left Mercedes was that it was just kind of easier for him to stay married. He knows how to manage Mercedes, she doesn’t get in the way of his pursuits, and she still performs her wifely functions well enough. I mean, she’s still socially adept in their circle and she’s an asset to have on his arm at public functions. And there’s Portia, too, though I think parents tend to overvalue the importance of staying together as a benefit to the children, because a bad marriage can be as negative an influence as a divorce, if not worse. On top of that, he’s been with Pru for quite a few years, and she’s never asked more of him, so this set up has worked for him.

But, he has been questioning all of these things lately.

You are the reason I have put this much thought into Bill’s life and character. He was really never meant to be more than just Jacklyn & Nico’s manager, and part of a general commentary on crappy rich people in Beverly Hills. Your continued interest and questions made me take another look at him. =D

Hawthorne’s feelings were not the same kind of bitterness Cynthia has because their situations were quite different. Hawthorne was seduced by Dorian for what he thought was going to be a night of absinthe and sex, and he got turned into a vampire. And was then handed over into servitude to the witch, which is what he really resented out of the deal. And being a vampire himself, he understands the compulsion and is aware that Dorian was operating under orders he could not disobey. So his anger is mostly turned toward the witch. While Dorian is not exactly a trusted friend, he is at least someone Hawthorne feels he can communicate with.

Cynthia, on the other hand, sees herself as a combatant in a war, and being held prisoner by the enemy. Her feelings are way beyond personal resentment. She hates Allannah on principle for being a magic user. Even if Allannah were to help her get at the witch, she is still guilty, in Cynthia’s eyes, of practicing dark magic, and therefore an evil that must be destroyed.

simmeringsuccotash answered: Allannah will come up with some solution to rescue Hawthorne. I have confidence in her resourcefulness.

This is the hardest test Allannah has ever had to face. She may have to take drastic measures, but she will stop at nothing, I think, to get Hawthorne back.
