Sean had wondered off.... Again. He never meant to, but at their last camp, they’d been nearby a beautiful forest and Sean had gotten himself lost exploring. When he made his way back to camp- it was gone, the gang having moved on elsewhere. With a sigh, Sean can’t help but wonder why it was always him who got left behind. He spots a note, grabbing it and noticing it was a map with a circle around it. Javier had signed it, and Sean silently thanked Javier.
Javier was a man with a golden heart- and whenever this happened, Javier had taken to leaving something behind so Sean would find them again. Sean was thankful- he adored Javier for it. And, certainly- was head over heels for Javier and his kind heart as well, but, alas, Sean was well aware Javier would never feel the same.
He gets back onto his horse, yawning and heading out. Luck was not on his side, and he ended up being spotted by an O’Driscoll and attacked. Sean was shot in the arm, yelping and urging his horse to move faster. He manages to get away, hitching his horse outside of a little cabin under the porch, cursing as blood dripped from his arm onto the porch.
Sean stumbles in, flinching as thunder boomed outside. At least it was starting to storm, so no nearby wild animals would track the scent of blood to him.
“ Shit, shit. Awh, t’is is just my luck. ” Sean murmurs, slowly sitting on the bed and holding a cloth to his wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
