Dear friend? What in the world is Samurai Pizza Cats? O.o

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh Snarky, Samurai Pizza Cats is one of my all-time favourite shows from my childhood! It's an anime that aired in the early 90s, known for its English version being written entirely from scratch with no Japanese scripts to reference, as well as its ahead-of-its-time humour (and a lot of it was jokes definitely aimed at older folks - plenty that would have flown over kids' heads). Also, the guy who sung the theme song may have been drunk at the time of recording.

It's about three robotic cats who work in a pizza parlor, that fight robot monsters that are dispatched by the villain of the show, The Big Cheese, a fox whose hobby is crossdressing, and his army of Ninja Crows.

It's pretty great.

19. Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse?

Currently, my muse is pretty much Prompto Argentum, through and through! The two of us are alike in a lot of ways (sometimes, scarily so), so when it comes to writing Prompto, it just comes naturally and easily. Most of the time I find myself relating his thoughts and feelings to the most random of things in my everyday life (i.e. “Prompto would think that is the most hilarious thing in the universe, and would totally proceed to non-stop pester Ignis about it”, etc.) and that’s how most of my amusing scenarios/dialogue is born in my head. The boy’s just very inspiring!

20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.

I’d describe my perfect writing conditions as that week I took off of work specifically to try and get my Big Bang fic done (that didn’t end up happening, BUT): A clear, fresh mind in the morning, after having some time to wake up, and preferably nothing but silence. Just peace and quiet. Though when the silence got to be a bit much, I put on some quiet music for ambience and inspiration. I wrote a lot during that week!

38. Talk about a review that made your day.

How about every single review I’ve received from my darling @breotch ? Seriously, she’s wonderful and the first time she ever commented on my (at the time, only) fic, I was floored for days and probably read it over and over at least ten times. Her enthusiasm and support is inspiring and definitely keeps me writing. <3

(2/2) made things a little brighter. Like, I get so excited when I see one of your comics. I laugh, I smile, I feel a little lighter. And your regular pieces are always so simple and pretty. It even makes me want to get out of my slump and sketch a little. I always look forward to seeing your posts, and that is so important to me on the days when I feel like I have nothing to look forward to, and nothing to smile about. Especially your Iggy stuff. He is adorable. He is sassy. He is godly.
