On behalf of some members of my system, I'll be coining some new comship and comship-adjacent terms because lightship and darkship isn't good enough for them.
Greyship
(Can also be spelt grayship, I'm not picky)
A comship term for those who are in between lightship and darkship. This can be for any reason.
Some subterms include:
Dawnship - Greyshippers who consider themselves closer to lightship
Duskship - Greyshippers who consider themselves closer to darkship
Additionally, I would like to coin the following:
Sunship
A term similar to lightship, but exclusively for those who are neutralship. Some may choose to use this label because they are uncomfortable with comship labels, to remove themselves from discourse, or for any other reason.
Moonship
A term similar to darkship, but exclusively for those who are neutralship. Some may choose to use this label because they are uncomfortable with comship labels, to remove themselves from discourse, or for any other reason.

“Seren, I’m scared.” Aimsey chokes out, sitting up which Guqqie does as well.
She reaches a hand out to enclose Aimsey’s smaller one in, holding tight. “It would be easier for me to help if I know.”
“Promise you won’t be angry?”
“Aimee, I cannot until I know. Just tell me.” They say with a firm tone, green eyes meeting his chocolate brown.
“In the fight earlier…I was bitten.” Aimsey breaks eye contact after choking on those words, tightening her grip until Guqqie slowly pulls away to sit further back, lovely face carved in shock. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to ruin your day…”
“Ruin my day?” Guqqie lets out a harsh laugh, shaking her head. “Aimsey, this doesn’t ruin just my day. Are you kidding me?”
She looks desperately around Aimsey’s features, finding nothing but defeat. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
“I wanted one last good day, seren.” Aimsey begs her to understand, not wanting their last moments to be ones filled with strife.

Another needle snaps, and Guqqie realizes that Aimsey might let her pull them right back down to hell. Aimsey, if Guqqie’s waxen wings folded and tore away, would fall past land with her. And tug at her, in a futile effort to bring her back. It scares Guqqie so, so much, like a stumble backwards off a cliff, like a tower spire rising into the thin air, like a crooning whisper in her ear as she wakes. Because she isn't Icarus.
Guqqie is the sun. And she will love Aimsey, and it will kill them.
