this is the shit I love. i had the same reaction to Payton when he appeared in CS2, and also whenever Anton shows up. it's why i saved this screenshot from Zero.
Cuz like, yeah! The girl from the farm near Rolent and the fisherman from the guild! Of course you would remember those people! They're not random NPCs to you, they're people who've enriched your life!!!
It's one of the things that makes the Trails series great, and shows the strength of an ongoing story; The world feels so much more enriched when it's persistent like this.
Trails makes me yell "THAT'S GLUP SHITTO" about the most random guys and that's wonderful.
