Summary: Fucking Arthur, he thinks, pushing his head against the seat. It’s not so much that he’s breaking promises left and right by bringing up that thing between them in public again; it’s just his ever-irritating sense of entitlement. It’s Arthur being a prick and thinking he can go around doing anything he wants sometimes, because obviously, obviously the entire world exists only to amuse him.

Comment: I wanted to both hug and bang Merlin and Arthur’s heads together when reading this. They have a friends with benefits relationship going on, and both clearly want more but are unaware the other feels the same. Arthur releases his feeling by doing everything Merlin asks him not to do, which Merlin both enjoys and hates. You spend the whole story waiting for them to get their act together, and the wait and the result are both amusing and satisfying.

Rating: NC-17 Author: suntipped Wordcount: 24,546 Let me tell you: it hurts. This fic hurts. But it is also all kinds of adorable. Everyone is either pining or oblivious until everyone finds out about the little moment (or moments?) between Arthur and Merlin.
