mark felt the weight of the box in his pocket. his heart stammered in his heart as he waited for ren to get ready so that they could go out. he was planning to properly propose to her today, and though he knew he just might get a scolding for wasting money on unnecessary things, he wanted to give her the right things. and one of those was a pretty diamond ring for her ring finger.

the sun was shining, and he had told her he wanted to take her to namsan tower. he planned to propose there and then take her to a nice restaurant. perhaps it was cliche but he didn’t have any other good ideas. “are you ready to go, babe?” his parents were going to come over to watch the baby, and they had already told him that they were already in the lobby.

the anger just hit her like a ton of bricks and her voice was loud as she spoke. she was irritated, drove mad by the simple fact that people believed her to be so fragile, just because of the way her mind worked. tears collected in the corners of her eyes and they threatened to spill over.
