Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation in Trans World Airlines (TWA) livery. A specific surviving example, sometimes referred to as "Star of America," is owned by the Airline History Museum in Kansas City. The aircraft served as a major part of TWA's fleet in the 1950s before being replaced by jet airliners like the Boeing 707 in the early 1960s.
