I’m really upset, because I should not ship Bughead. I was so on board with Jughead being Asexual. I was rooting for it for so long

But the actors who play Betty and Jughead have undeniable chemistry. I found myself liking them together despite everything. Despite originally wanting Betty and Veronica together and for Jughead to not have a love interest. 

I’m upset, but I also can’t deny their chemistry. What do I do about this?

Stop the Shadowhunters hate. There is no way you will be able to enjoy it if you keep comparing it to the books. Think to yourself “If I hadn’t read the books, if I had no expectations, would I enjoy this?” And thats all that matters. Of course its going to be different, adaptations always are, and yeah its cheesy but no cheesier then the first season of Teen Wolf or Vampire Diaries or other big YA tv fantasy shows out there. We have an great cast, and second chance to see this story on screen. Stop focusing on the bad and focus on the good!
