...Just been thinking about this, like... Sasha's so ready to self sacrifice (poor kid smh), imagine the middle of a war, the possibility of opening a portal to earth with the box again, Anne taking a half-conscious Marcy through it and then reaching out for Sasha, but she sees the consequences before hand (monsters chasing her? Too close to her? Going through the portal WITH her towards HER friends? Nu-uh) so she closes the box without saying goodbye to Anne and Marcy, Anne's arm getting caught in the turmoil.
