So I know the natural instinct of a fan is to exaggerate your fave's positive traits to godlike proportions, but this idea people have that Shuri is on a whole other level of intelligence than the established Avengers geniuses is getting silly. Tony and Bruce looked at a fucking Infinity Stone amd said, "huh, that OS is pretty cool, let's learn its programming language" - and suceeded when they integrated JARVIS's remaining code into Vision. They are not going to poke at Wakandan tech in stunned awe while making monkey noises like the beginning of 2001, okay?
(Well, okay, they might if they had to put up with a lot of isolationist, elitist condescension before they actually got a chance to look at what was there and talk about whether it could scale to planetary defense levels. FRIDAY could play the music in the background too.)
If you look at any compilations of "smartest in the Marvel Universe" you'll find that while Reed Richards is nigh universally agreed to be the smartest overall as measured by IQ, others on the list are more talented in their field (Beast), capable of faster and more accurate computations (Amadeus Cho) or better at mental multitasking (IronMan). And they all are willing to call on each other to help, because when you are on the Top Super-genius level of intelligence, only megalomaniacs like Doom imagine themselves as far above their fellow geniuses as they and their peers are above the average scientist/engineer. Shuri's young and extremely privileged (not to mention a big fish in a small, if vibranium enriched, pond) but I don't think she's a megalomaniac, and there's no need to be one on her behalf for her to be awesome.
