Not sure if I submitted this before or not but here goes.

Basilisk venom is corrosive, often killing them by melting/dissolving organs before they poison can. For parseltongues it's different, it dissolves their magic, and any magic cast upon them.

When Harry is bitten in the Chamber, the venom begins to dissolve his magic, including Dumbledore's core bindings, and the spells placed upon him. Sensing a student in danger, the castle pulls heavily from the leylines below. That power passes straight through Harry, bathing him in raw Eldritch power and burning the poison from him.

Now free of bindings and undue influence, his magic super charged by the castle, Harry is free for the first time in his life. Now, what will he do with it?

Hi! I’m so thankful for all you do with this! I’ve read for quite a while, including lots of the latest stuff. I was just wondering if you had some stuff you haven’t recced before or something that is unlikely to have been read widely!! Thanks!

Of course I’m not sure I’m in a position to judge how widely read any fic is. But one fic I don’t see talked about often which I haven’t recced but was recced to me is

This is part one of a breathtakingly insane trilogy that probably changed my life, lol. It starts pretty tame but ends in the most highly powered Harry you have ever and will ever meet, passing through some pretty convoluted plot twists. I’ve never recced it because I just couldn’t figure out how the heck to describe it🤣. Do come back and let me know how you enjoyed the trilogy.

“Look, Newt, this is a messed up situation but seriously, it’s my fault. Don’t worry about it. ...Wait, Newt? Newt Scamander? ...I’m so dead.”

As an Auror, Harry gets into a lot of trouble very often. That usually does NOT include waking up with head trauma in 1925, however. To protect the timeline and avoid anything and everything to do with the current Dark Lord, Harry ups and leaves Great Britain altogether while he figures out a way to get back home. Of course with Harry’s luck, he just so happens to cross paths with a significant British wizard in the middle of the wilds of Africa.

After narrowly saving Sirius from the Veil of Death, Harry disarms Dumbledore and uses the Elder Wand to defeat Voldemort one-on-one in front of the arriving witnesses, taking all the Death Eaters down with their Master. He even heals Hermione with it, leaving no scar. As they work to clear Sirius and root out the Ministry’s corruption, we see in flashbacks how an early friendship with Luna led to our heroes learning of the Deathly Hallows and forming a plan to ruin Dumbledore’s selfish endgame.
