I have something very wrong with me when it comes to characters with superhealing as a power. Like bro... Yes you're gonna live forever and see all your loved ones die. If you even care. Is the biggest pain to die first or see everyone die before you? Crying over a loved one's body, knowing if you had just taken it for them they would be alive, wishing you could lend your curse to them for even a minute.
At first, others being worried for you while you tell them, I'm fine, I'll be fine, don't bother. Then as they learn... You're simultaneously the most overpowered and valuable member of our team but also the one we throw at every mortal danger. Hoping, maybe, one of these will actually kill you some time. A curse both for the wearer and their enemies. You're as careless with your limbs as you are with your words. Nothing can really hurt you, you have to take a knife in the heart for pretty much anyone. Heartless, inhuman, monster. Doomed, cursed. Is the summation of being human to hurt? To bleed? Or to feel? What if you wake up one day and you don't heal anymore, what is the point of you then? Your body literally being a shield, disposable, can be hurt and hurt a million times and always refreshed and up for a fight. Maybe you don't want to fight anymore. Maybe you don't have a choice. What if you wake up one day and you don't heal anymore? What if you don't realise, put yourself in danger as you always do, and die a stupid meaningless death? What if someone you care about kills you? What will be your legacy but one of blood spilled?

Mini Super Soldier Serum Theories: Number One; Teeth
So you may be thinking, teeth are so similar to bone, why can’t they heal? Would the serum be able to heal a cracked tooth?
First of all, an explanation of teeth. There’s the inside layers, called dentin and pulp, which actually do repair themselves in normal humans, being made out of cells. The problem is the enamel, which is made of about 95% minerals, and less than 2% cells, and thus, doesn’t repair itself. Enamel is made while the teeth are in the gums, and the cells that make enamel are broken down just before the tooth emerges.
But even if a super soldier kept the cells that make enamel, in order for them to heal the enamel, they would have to have a layer of those cells over the surface of the tooth, which would be destroyed before the enamel was destroyed, making there be no point to having those cells still exist in the first place.
So, assuming that the serum can regrow teeth, if super soldiers can’t repair a chipped tooth, then the cracked tooth has to come out first. Either they have to pull it, or it falls out on its own.
For it to fall out on its own, first the dentin would have to sense that it was exposed, then the roots would dissolve and be reabsorbed, making it wiggly and eventually fall out. Honestly, it would make sense for it to either fall out on its own, or to need to be pulled out, depending on what you’re writing.
Fun fact; adult teeth have longer and bigger roots than baby teeth.

To explore what I think about how super healing would effect tattoos, I first need to explain how tattoos work.
So, tattoos are ink pushed into the dermis, the second layer of skin, where cells called macrophages pick up the ink in order to destroy it as an invader. Macrophages use acid to destroy bacteria and viruses, but it doesn’t work on tattoo ink, so the ink stays in place and shows the image. Of course, some smaller pieces of ink get swept away by the lymphatic system, which is why tattoos fade slightly at the beginning, but for the most part, the ink particles get engulfed by the macrophages, and sit there.
As those cells die, new cells pick the ink up, and each time, a tiny bit of the ink is carried off or destroyed, which fades and blurs the tattoo. The rate at which the tattoo degrades partially depends on the speed that the skin cells replace themselves, because the places where more skin is rubbed off, ie. hands, feet, etc, replace cells faster, which means more of the ink gets carried off or degraded.
I’ve personally always had the theory that super fast healing cells only replicate when injured (because if they kept replicating so fast, while his cells were also less likely to die, that could lead to grossness like many tumours, or having cells fill up the empty spaces in his body, like his lungs) so that said, I think tattoos on super soldiers might last longer than they would on anyone else, due to the cells not replacing themselves as often. But that said, if they got injured in the same place as a tattoo, especially if it happened multiple times, it would fade quickly due to a large amount of cell replacement.
Side note on piercings;I don’t believe that super healing would lead to piercings being pushed out of the body due to my post here, but they would heal quickly right after the piercing was taken out. Anyone with super healing would probably have to re-pierce themselves every time they took a piercing out, unless it was only for a very short period of time, like to change the piercing.

Super Serum Healing
First, let me explain something about how the serum likely changed Steve’s cells. Steve has a truly incredible healing speed, approximately six times the speed of a normal human, which means that his cells replicate at that speed as well. (I took that speed from a wiki saying that Steve healed from a gunshot after several days, which probably means about three or four, but Steve probably got out of the hospital before he was fully healed, so I would say about a week. The average person heals from that kind of wound after about six weeks.) If cell replication just went at that speed without any other changes, they would constantly be replicating, which would lead to all the empty spaces in Steve’s body (like his lungs) filling up with cells, and that would quickly kill Steve. Therefore, there must be a mechanism in his cells that keeps them from replicating until they’re needed.
Now to the actual science of how wounds heal. In normal humans, once they get a wound, blood starts to fill the wound, and dry once it touches air. A combination of dried blood cells and a protein called fibrin creates a scab, which protects the body from germs and blood loss. It usually only takes 3-5 minutes for the scab to start forming, but can take a while to fully cover the wound, especially if it is large. I wouldn’t be surprised if Steve formed scabs faster than anyone else though, because that would be an important part in keeping him on his feet through major wounds. This already forms a barrier that any debris would have to go through to get out of his body, which would be a terrible idea, and would lead to additional blood loss, which is much worse than having debris in the wound, especially because of how easily Steve fights off infections.
Then, as the scab is being formed, the damaged cells release chemicals that attract blood (and more specifically, certain types of white blood cells called neutrophils) that destroy any bacteria that managed to make its way inside, and remove dead cells and microscopic debris like dust. Then, as the white blood cells leave after about two to three days, other cells called macrophages arrive to continue cleaning debris. They also release growth factors and proteins that seem to speed up the reproduction of cells in the area, and trigger a few other processes. Collagen is produced to replace the fibrin, and the skin contracts to bring the edges of the wound closer together.
For one, that means that it would be completely illogical for the wound to heal from the inside out, the only way that would make it possible for any debris to be pushed out by Steve’s body. For another, that means that Steve would likely not heal over as fast as we might think he would. Human wounds don’t even begin to heal properly until after two to three days, when the macrophages start arriving. That means, with Steve healing at six times the speed of a normal human, his cells would likely not begin dividing until at least eight hours have elapsed! Because Steve’s cells are not constantly dividing, like a normal human’s cells, it’s likely that Steve’s cells would need a chemical activation to start replicating.
However, it’s possible that he would heal much quicker at first, then slow down once he’s out of immediate danger. We only know the average speed of his healing after all, and not how his healing speed changes over time. Or, he could begin healing right away, because he is so much better at fighting infection than any other person, so he could afford to start healing immediately. It’s nearly impossible to know just how fast Steve heals due to insufficient information, and no further answers in official material.
In short, whether Steve heals slower or faster, it would be impossibly unlikely that debris would be pushed out of his wounds as a normal part of the healing process, due to the many risks, (like reopening a wound and bleeding out) and few rewards (due to his incredible ability to fight infection).
