when i was in elementary school, before there were streaming services in this part of the world, my mom and i would visit the little black market stands in the mall basement and buy burned movies and shows in bulk. you know, just casual piracy. like i’m talking multiple seasons of naruto in 4-5 dvd discs all in one flimsy plastic sleeve. the latest western blockbuster movie that you can bet will never air in theaters here. all the barbie movies. completed period k-dramas. i had the world in my hands in a little black plastic bag, the type you’d use for weekly meat cuts from the morning market. idk i think burning discs is kinda neat,,,or streaming, i guess, whichever is easier

Proof: on page 2156 of vast error, you can make body pillows of characters from other media that are similar to the main cast of the comic. one of serpazs options is mabel pines from gravity falls, and in the description it compares mabels mannerisms to serpaz and at the bottom says "trolls dont have words for certain mental phenomena, so well just recognize it as adhd and move on."

I really want to grow to like wasps more, but I’m hopelessly terrified of them- not because of stings, just as creatures I’m scared for whatever reason. Any tips for getting over this and learning to love and observe wasps? I used to be scared of bees too but did beekeeping and now I’m fine with them most of the time! Sorry to bother u!!

Well I guess what I did was research them. the more I exposed myself to them, learning about the different families and how diverse they are in shape, size, color, behavior, survival strategies, and ecosystem services, the more I realized that they were just another animal. they have their fascinating lives that after seeing in pictures, I wanted to observe up close in real life. 

you could also try looking at dead ones. I've learned so much about insect anatomy in general just from collecting ang preserving them. you could see a particular structure on one and wonder “what’s this for?” That definitely gives you some insights into their behaviors. 

In general I strongly believe that being educated about a subject is the surest way to reduce your fear of it.

The county contacted us to make sure that we were still open because if anyone gets sick and can’t care for their dogs/cats/etc in the coming months they are planning to give the pet all needed vet care (vaccinations etc) and pay to board them with us.
