To answer your question about the episode, it’s taken me so long to answer this ask that I’m trying to remember what ep this scene was in. If I recall correctly, it was in my least fav episode of the season, but it was followed by what I think has become my favorite episode of the entire series, so it balances out. EDIT: I don’t remember what ep this scene is in and I’m pretty sure I’m not describing the right one but whatever.

Not sure you're taking prompts, but if you are can we get a Sanvers Overprotective Maggie post 2x19 fic?

Alexrested her back against the wall next to her window. She had turnedthe lights off ten minutes ago, but the car was still there. It hadbeen there for the past fifty-seven minutes. She checked her watch.Fifty-eight.

Alexlooked around her darkened apartment, knowing that she could navigateit without the light. She mentally located every gun in theapartment, but settled on her favorite new toy in the kitchen drawer.

Theman was sitting in the car, phone pressed to his ears when her feethit the street. There was no way he’d seen her. Alex had taken asecure route and was hyper-aware of her surroundings. She’d bedamned if she got kidnapped again.

Shecrept up on the car and waited, crouched near the back passengerdoor. When she heard loud laughing, she opened the passenger door andin one swift movement, sat in the seat, her gun pointed at the man.

Heautomatically reached for the center console, but she grabbed hishand and pinned it to the smooth leather between them. “Why are yousitting outside my apartment?”

Beforehe could answer, she saw a picture of herself taped to the dashboardjust above the radio. She pressed her gun to his chest. “Tell me!”Rage and fear were coursing through her. So soon after she had beenkidnapped someone was sitting outside her apartment.

Theman dropped his phone and Alex caught it before it hit the man’slap. As she caught it, she saw something shining on his belt. Shemoved his jacket out of the way and saw an NCPD badge. “What thehell is going on?”

“I’mjust doing it for the extra cash,” his hands in the air wereshaking as he spoke. “Sawyer said it would be easy. Just sitoutside this apartment and -”

Alexnarrowed her eyes, her change in expression prompting the man to stoptalking. “Sawyer?”

“Yeah,”he nodded. “Detective Sawyer.” He pointed to the picture. “Shesaid to watch your apartment. Make sure nothing sketchy happened.”

Alexsighed and sat back in the passenger’s seat. She let her head fallback on the headrest. She took a deep breath.

Shelet go of the officer and opened the passenger door. “You can gohome. I’m fine.”

“Ifit’s all the same to you,” he called through the open door. “Shepaid me upfront so I’ll be out here until six.”

Alexsighed and waved him off. “Do what you want.”

Beforeshe got back to her apartment, Alex had her phone out and pressed toher ear.

“Hey,”Maggie answered. “Everything okay? It’s… late.”

“Ihaven’t been to sleep yet,” Alex exasperatedly explained. “Therewas a car sitting across the street from my apartment, freaking meout.”

Maggiepaused, a soft beep in both of their ears. She sighed softly. “I’msorry. He was supposed to be more inconspicuous.”

“I’mfine, Maggie,” Alex fell back onto her couch. She kicked her feetup on the table and picked up the remote on the arm of the couch. Sheturned on the fireplace and leaned back, watching the flames growfrom the gas.

Maggietook a moment. “I worry.”

“You’reonly out of town for another night,” Alex answered. “J’onn,Winn, and I installed more security around the building.” She ranher hand through her hair. “I’m almost done packing. It’sjust…” she looked at her watch. “Twelve more hours. You’ll beback before I have to go back to work.”

“You’reright,” Maggie answered. “I’ll actually be back in about halfan hour.”

“What?”Alex asked. “I thought you were going to stay in Central Cityovernight.”

“Icouldn’t sleep,” Maggie confessed. “And Kara keeps texting meevery time she flies over your apartment and Townsend told me whenyou turned off the lights and gives me half hour updates, but…”There was a small crack in Maggie’s voice that turned into acanyon. “I’m sorry.”

Alexcould feel the fear over the phone. Maggie sniffled and she knewMaggie was more upset than she was letting on. “Babe, we have tomove on with our lives. We can’t keep being scared of people likeRick. Or a flaming alien who ties you up in a warehouse.”

“Iactually,” Maggie chuckled. “I had actually forgotten about thatbecause of what happened to you.”

“Inever have,” Alex breathed out.

Therewas a dense silence on the phone while they both marinated in thefears of the other getting hurt or kidnapped.

Therewas another soft beep and some movement on Maggie’s end. “Karasaid you’re on your couch. Why don’t you get in bed, babe?”

Alexlooked up at the ceiling, knowing that Kara was up there. She heftedherself to her feet and walked to the balcony door. She unlocked thedoor and pushed the door open before moving back to the couch.

Therewas a soft whoosh and then a gentle footstep. “You shouldn’tleave your door unlocked.”

Alexwaved Supergirl toward the couch and kicked one of the pillows out ofthe way so there was enough room for her to sit down. “C’mon,neither one of you are going to leave me alone.” Alex put her phoneon speaker. “At least for tonight.” She looked over the back ofthe couch at Kara. “You have some pajamas in the box in thecloset.”

Karalooked at the phone. When she listened hard, she could hear Maggie’scar engine on the other end of the line. She nodded and walked towardthe bedroom.

WhenMaggie arrived at Alex’s apartment, she was exhausted. She had todrop off the evidence she’d driven to Central City for. She foundthe Danvers sisters in the bed, both passed out with the phonebetween them.

Maggiehung up her phone and went to the bathroom to change. She crawledinto the bed in some of Alex’s clothes that hadn’t gotten packedyet.

Whenher head hit the pillow that Alex’s head was on, an automatic smilepopped onto Alex’s face. Her head lolled over toward Maggie and hereyes cracked open. “Hey.”

“Hey,”Maggie whispered, kissing Alex and settling into the bed. She couldsee Kara sprawled out on the other side of Alex, Alex’s arm tuckedsafely between Kara’s arms and her body, holding Alex’s arm likeAlex would float off if she didn’t.

Alexslipped her free arm under Maggie’s head and curled it around hergirlfriend. She kissed Maggie’s forehead. “I’m glad you’reback.”

“Metoo,” Maggie rested her hand on Alex’s stomach. “I love you.”She pulled her body closer to Alex’s, one leg looping around Alex’sleg.

Alexhummed, eyes closed, dancing on the edge of sleep. “Love you too.”

Alex gets kidnapped.

Kara and Maggie spend most of the episode trying to find her. Fighting over the proper way to go about things and kind of having a pissing contest  over who loves Alex more.

When they finally find the place Alex is being held,all they find are the unconscious bodies of the kidnappers and Alex sitting there.Alittle bloody and tired but other wise unharmed,waiting for her favorite girls to come get her.

SuperSanvers pregnant Kara: Even though Kara isn't going to get stretch marks because she's an Alien, Maggie takes the time to rub coco butter on her stomach every night. Alex sings to the baby bump. Maggie takes most of Kara's nutritional needs on herself, she enjoys it, and it's fun trying to sneak veggies into things without Kara noticing. Alex brings home the first onesie, it has the El crest on the front and says 'I'm so adorable, I'm out of this world' underneath.

For Maggie it’s less about the stretch marks (that more than likely won’t appear anyway or will disappear again in no time at all) and more about the connection. She was the one who had the hardest time to wrap her mind around the idea of having a baby and Alex and Kara encouraged it whenever Maggie needed some bonding time with the baby (and Kara) and Kara always relaxed under Maggie’s gentle ministrations which were a welcome relief since her alien biology did not spare her from experiencing the multitude of discomforts that came with being pregnant. So, it’s really no surprise that Maggie is the first one to really feel the baby move (after Kara of course) and she stops any and all movement when she does and stares at the bump before staring back up at Kara, who is smiling down at her and gently pressing her hand back down on her bump so she can feel it again and then there are tears in Maggie’s eyes and she’s smiling and Kara is so happy about that, just like Alex when she joins them shortly after that and sees the soft happiness in Maggie’s eyes.

Alex on the other hand will often quietly sing to the bump, ever the scientist she knew it was good for the baby’s development, but it didn’t stop her from being amazed whenever she felt the baby move beneath her fingertips while she was softly humming, and Kara loved to listen to Alex just as much, loved how their baby would calm down whenever Alex was close and she would often run her fingers through Alex’s hair when she was resting her head on her bump, so carefully, and smile, because she loved how loved their baby already was by all of them.

The problem with Kara’s food cravings was, much to Alex’s and Maggie’s dismay, that none of them were remotely healthy or nutritional. The one thing that saved them though was when Alex told Kara that their baby needed the nutrients and Kara reluctantly agreed to letting Maggie cook meals for her throughout the week. Maggie on the other hand tried her best to hide the veggies from Kara and Kara would smile so big when she got a milkshake after lunch and Alex couldn’t help but chuckle at just how happy it made Kara and then proceed to kiss her cheek, which in turn made Kara’s eyes sparkle with happiness, something she would never get tired of seeing because it was so utterly adorable and sweet.

When Alex comes home with the first piece of clothing for the baby one day, a tiny onesie with the House of El crest embroidered on it that reads ‘I’m so adorable, I’m out of this world’, Kara just about dies from excitement and hugs Alex before kissing her and Alex just smiles, knowing how much this meant to Kara and knowing that Winn probably needed to make a lot more clothes in the future because Kara already loved the onesie so much.
