Today, we witness the birth of a masterpiece. My wildest hopes and dreams for this Christmas have been surpassed in every regard. By the power vested in me, I elevate this piece to the lofty heights of supercanon.
In this post I'll be going over the basic head-canons/canon-canon information that I have pertaining to what my Goku can do "in-base" as an adult. This doesn't really apply to young Goku as much, for the most part, though things could be considered.
Max Strength/Endurance: ????
The maximum "pressing weight" that Goku can achieve is of practically non-existent canonicity. While having been established somewhat during a filler arc in the anime (which is largely treated as secondary canon to MY Goku) it was during a filler arc that still took place some 7 years prior to the final saga, during which time he was likely training, probably got more than a few zenkai boosts off-screen, and definitely was subject to at least one while on-screen.
Planet-Busters have been something that was existent through at least half of Z, with Vegeta claiming that his Galick Gun could destroy Earth. Whether this was exaggeration or not, it's been shown that Freeza in his first form had reduced a powerful feat such as destroying planets to a rather simple affair. And thanks to Goku's base form being able to keep up with final form Freeza for a lengthy bit of combat, sustaining attacks from this foe, it can be presumed that taking attacks from such a powerful foe, and that his own base form's blasts could likely meet this end as well. And going with Screwattack's observation of Goku not being able to move himself with blasts without allowing it, this means that our subject is more than likely able to sustain a planet-destroying blast with some fuel left. Of course, Resurrection of F' shows that it doesn't take a planet-burster to fatally injure Goku, if it's precise enough, and well-aimed (referring to Sorbet's ring blast) can definitely force Son to need a senzu. Broader attacks (things like blunt force and large blasts) would probably need to be in excess of a planet-destroying event to one-shot Goku.
Speed and Agility: Instant and Insane
While Goku's flight and running speed (linear travel; thus point A to point B) have a cap and likely are outpaced by many, he has something great that works around it. The nature of instantaneous transmission bypasses this, so long as Goku has an idea of here he needs to go, by either being able to perceive the destination, or sense the ki of a target at that location. In addition, agility comes into play by giving Goku an unprecedented level of omni-directional speed that is more applicable in battle than the more marathon-like nature of point A to point B. Using a combat-friendly version of his transmission also allows Goku to out-pace nearly any foe in a fight, though this doesn't work in the same sense as a superior base speed, where it would improve the force of his punches through greater velocity.
Skill and Cunning: Masterful and Clever
Having been trained in two specifically named styles of fighting, it is implied that Goku is more of a mixed martial artist, sampling things from others to add on to what he already has, applying them as necessary for the situation. Much of his perceived skill can more accurately be attributed to superior physicality, if not for the expansive catalog of learned and invented martial techs. Intelligence and cunning also play as a key factor in his style of fighting, even if it's not as easily apparent in Z-era. When combating strong foes, at times stronger than even himself, Goku has used his witts and inventiveness to take advantage of a situation or opponent's weakness. Goku is simple, naiive, and even trusting to a fault. However, he is not an idiot in any capacity.
Technique List and Diversity: Average to Above Average
According to the wiki, Son has a shorter list than some, with a clear preference towards movement-based abilities, martial attacks/combinations, and more general abilities (if to a lesser degree of power than more focused practitioners). Within his blast attacks, nearly everything is either a staple for any member of the Z-Fighters, or derived somehow from his kamehameha. Of course, the Meteor and "First" family of attacks also dominate most physical techniques among this catalog, making him a bit predictable in this sense, if not for the fact that these two families are particularly diverse and effective. Transformations for Goku are (as far as the mun has been able to recall) the thing which sets him above, with many different ones, though a few are film one-offs or versions of the kaioken to differing capacities, it's still a significant thing to mention, given that Goku has many levels that he can fight on, even if post-BOG he prefers only using the kaioken and Pure Supersaiyan God.
"Oh—- Well I love musicals. I know—- I know—- it isn’t like the type of music most people listen to but it moves me. I mean the power and sweetness. I just love everything about it. Bruce doesn’t like coming to my house when I’m cleaning because I crank it up and sing along when I’m cleaning."
Cody: A J.A.R.V.I.S like intelligence programmed into a human form, a living supercomputer able to walk among humans freely and gather more information.
-Name is an abbreviation: C.O.D.I. Collection of Outside Data and Intelligence, but shortened to Cody by his AI, and a play on his brain being built from code.
-System can interface with other computers, writing code into his brain, holds many pieces of the Project Insight data in storage.
-made of fragile equipment Cody is protected by a heavy at all times.
Patrick: A mutated human with unstable genes, he has the ability to see and control soundwaves, code naming himself Punksound and functioning as one of Cody's two heavies.
-Adaptations to his body are mostly internal, though the mutated genes cause a weak immune system, face often covered with a surgical or gas mask to protect from airborne germs.
Brendon: Patrick's best friend, another mutated human with stabled genes, codenamed Skratch and due to the stable nature of his genes, he is less attuned to the soundwaves as Patrick.
-With this handicap, He fights well with weaponry created by himself, sonic grenades, sharpened records lined with metal functioning more as throwing stars than anything else, etc.
Josh: Biological weapon, Stinger's power is all through disease and blood, green running through his veins, microbes calling his skin home and following orders when given.
-His weapons are custom, designed to aid in the spread of his illnesses, grenades filled with his corrosive blood, poisoned knives, all long ranged, as simply contact with him is enough to cause a debilitating infection.
Headcanon for Supes: Even if it's an Earth holiday, he makes a point of visiting the Fortress of Solitude on Father's Day.
Absolutely accepted. See even though Clark isn’t human, he believes he is. He grew up with their holidays, their beliefs. So yes, he would go to the Fortress and spend time with the memories of his Kryptonian father.
I hate how Lois always sits on my desk. It seems that every time I am starting to get a foot hold on a story she comes over and interrupts me. I hate it!
