“Supergirl” Feels (SPOILERS for 2x06“Changing”)

I literally caught the last two minutes of this episode, and boy, was it the wrong two minutes, if I was looking to have a fun night.
Even though this show is still very new, Alex and Kara’s last scene in this episode will probably go down as one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the show’s history. Alex’s tearfully telling Kara that Maggie didn’t like her back truly tugged at my heartstrings and nearly made me cry myself, mostly because I found it extremely relatable.
Not that I myself have ever dealt with this kind of rejection ( I consider myself bisexual, but have never actually asked a girl out before), but I’ve definitely felt the feeling of rejection and humiliation in putting myself out there for other reasons, in other situations. It makes you feel like everything is dark, and the world is ending, and your heart is breaking into a million pieces, and you can’t breathe - and you’re in so much pain that you don’t even necessarily want to breathe.
Luckily for Alex, she has a Super sister who is willing to fly into her apartment, whether she wants her to or not, and give her a big hug to ensure her that someone still cares, and loves her.

this commercial hit me in all the feels I kept thinking about how a few months ago before I started watching this show. I had severe depression and the show and you guys made me smile. XD I love you guys
