And the way he dashed out for the ice cream just because Kory coughed and Blackfire smiled... I'm loving him all the more this season. HE is the man! He is a GENTLEMAN! He listens and gets things done when no one else will. 🥂🔥

His hand reaches out to rest on her thigh, her skin reacting to the contact with goosebumps. "I can hear the sun from here… you sound like that, a dull roar. It makes me think of life; a cacophony of vibrations and textures, of timbres… rich and varied," 

While he speaks she shifts subtly, her thighs pressing closer together, her full lashes quivering and her breath becoming uneven. The glass in her hand shakes just a fraction before she puts it down gingerly. 

"Let's dance," Is all she says, rising to her feet with the hand from her thigh already in her grasp.
