This weekend is the Great Backyard Bird Count. These Red Crossbill photos were taken by @jc_birdsvt earlier this week in Chittenden County, hopefully the birds stick around for the weekend. The first picture is a female and the second the male. Before Islanders, I played this, also by the folks at Grizzly Games. Similar designs... procedurally generated levels, play as much as you want or can in current level, get points for performing tricks and combos to achieve highscores--only here, instead of building placement, the whole thing hinges on a satisfying flight model for a floppy ragdoll glider person, who handles like a paper airplane.
