I hated to see Alex sad, especially since she insisted on bottling it up not to worry or overwhelm me. Even when I told her she never bothered me. 

We just sat there together, in an awkward silence as we tried to think of something to say or do that would lighten up the mood. 

“Are you sure you don’t want to talk about it?” I finally piped up, wanting to help her in some way.

Alex sighed tiredly, but didn’t reply. Her head hung low so her eyes naturally fell on the ground and she didn’t have the strength to look up. 

“I’m just worried, Y/N” In the end she gave in. “I don’t know what to do” 

I finally understood what the problem was. Her work could be overwhelming at times, and the current situation with Kara was also very stressful for her. 

“Things will work out, don’t worry” 

“What if they don’t? They depend on me!”

“Alex, they will, you are so smart and capable” 

“But if I make a mistake…” Her brows furrowed in concern at the mere thought of it. It felt like the weight of the world was on her shoulders.

“I am sure, you will do great, like you always do” I dedicated her a warm comforting smile, also rubbing her arm lovingly.

“I’m sorry, Y/N…” She sighed again, shaking her head as though she was scolding herself. “Sometimes it gets too much and I just-” 

Judging by her quick speech and restless tone, I knew she was about to start to nervously ramble. And I needed to put an end to it to calm her down.

Tenderly holding her chin so she would look up at me, I grinned at her when our glances met.

“Shut up and kiss me, Danvers” I playfully told her, making her smile in spite of herself. 

Then the both of us leaned closer until our lips met. I felt her relax in the kiss, sweetly reciprocating as our lips moved in sync. I also noticed the loving look she gave me when we broke away, and the serene and content sigh that followed.

First of all, she wouldn’t want to show it

But when she’s jealous she’s quite passive aggresive

She would try to divert the attention from that person and focus it on her instead

Reminding them how close you and Alex are

But she would so play it cool when you eye her suspiciously

Eventually, she would probably own it up and admit it to you

And she’d be all cute and flustered when you tell her she has nothing to be jealous about

Because she’s the one you like

But hey, don’t tease her about it

Because according to her, she wasn’t that jealous after all

Can I Ask for an imagine? Maybe an Alex x Reader where the R is Alex first love from high-school, and they meet again discovering that the R is working with the FBI, and Idk maybe Kara tease Alex because she turns into a completely blushing mess when you're around? I just thought that it would be cute xD
