I feel like surely there's more of us out there who used to be superhumans/metahumans/mutants etc? Beings who were supposedly human but had incredible powers? Not just specific fictional versions but unique individuals?

being kin with a superhero only to reincarnate here is ... well, a nightmare. exhausting, even. I can't help anyone now. everyone's in trouble in so many places, and I can't even go to most of those places. this world needs a hero, and I can't give it to them. what god decided that someone who'd spent their entire life helping others deserved to feel this helpless?
