a confident breath in, then one slender finger reaches out and presses the little doorbell. he jumps a bit at the strange ring that answers him, but soon plasters the approved welcoming smile across his face, brown eyes alight with the prospect of a new conversion.

he pulls out a blue book, seemingly out of nowhere, and brandishes it the moment the door opens as he speaks.

Church made a show of squinting suspiciously, though he couldn’t help but smile at the surprise kiss. Alright, fine, she has his attention.
