So many instances of mfmom pulling the same controlling bs in Clock Hands, but I'm always astounded by how. The one (1) clear boundary drawn for her (let Mfy decide her career and stop pressuring her) was so blatantly disregarded over and over again, often in sneaky ways...... like 😭😭😭 me when I'm reformed and willing to respect my child, wdym it can't go back to the old days with 0 boundaries

that event is so realistic in portraying mafumom’s manipulation, and the saddest part is i think mafumom barely even realises what she’s doing. luckily mafuyu has a solid support system (mainly niigo, but also her other friends) and her father is not taking her mom’s side but is instead listening to what mafuyu is saying and trying to protect her (although, man, you could have realised sooner jfc).
the way mafuyumom was trying at first but it was all so fake and uncomfortable and then when kanade called her out on her bs she started crying and made it all about her and left the table leaving mafuyu completely dissociated and sick with guilt bc she doesn’t event comprehend how much she has traumatised mafuyu it’s sick it’s sick.
