I don’t get to catch many of the momma moments, I’m usually enjoying the moment too much to remember to take the picture or I’m off doing the business thing, or the youth leader thing, but tonight I took in a glorious sight. In spite of her own symptoms this supermomma put her daughters needs first(as always) and powered through, with love in her voice and of course in her heart. Life would be devoid of purpose without my wife and kids. Feeling like Super Momma

This past Thursday my little lady and I made the trip to go visit my husband across the country, that accounted for two flights on Thursday and two flights on Sunday with just me and her.  I was grateful for the kind strangers that offered and helped out in carrying bags for me.  It was so heartwarming to know people will reach out when they see someone struggling.

I am also proud of how well my princess did on the planes.  Minimal crying and that was a huge relief for me. 

I was blessed to come home to a clean apartment thanks to my own Super Momma! Today I did laundry and made sure she and I were fed and that she was clean... other than that we've been catching up on our rest that we missed from our late flight (didn't get to sleep till 3:00 AM!).

Now that my apartment is in much better shape it's a good foundation for me to start getting my life in order.

It's my last week of maternity leave and I am so bummed out to be leaving my little girl.  Though I know she'll be in good hands it still sucks to have to be away from her...

Well little one is starting to fuss... duty calls :)
