Hello! I've been searching for this answer for a while, and I've asked a lot of the Simblr community about this, and who better to ask then you, who's also attempting the 100 baby challenge! I cannot seem to get multiples in a birth after my household reaches 8. I can still have children, but they're all single births. I have all the mods needed, but maybe there's a setting I'm missing?
Hi there! I’ve had a few people come to me with this problem, but they’ve never gotten back to me on whether they got it fixed or not so I don’t know how helpful I’ll be. BUT! I will try nonetheless. It sounds to me like you have a one baby glitch, but you can never be sure with sims. Read more because this is super long. I’m sorry to anyone on mobile. Also, making this public for anyone else who has a similar issue
- Make sure your mods are the correct patch level and match your game level. Portrait Panel in particular. It’s a great mod, but it does eventually crap out on you and cause issues. Speaking from plenty of experience on this. - Double check and see if you have more than 8 sims enabled. - If you have changed the chance of quads percentage, reset it back to it's original percentage. This feature is handy for 100 baby, but changing the percentage opens the floodgates for baby glitches. - Do a CC scan. Do 10 of them just to be sure.- Run your game without mods and CC and see if it still happens. If none of that works, try one or more or all of these.1. Previous Save (if you don’t have previous saves, skip onto 2 or 3.)If you have multiple saves, go back to a previous save, and play through again. Obviously you can’t play through exactly the way you did the first time, but that’s the point. Do some stuff differently. If the one baby situation doesn’t re-appear, cool! It can be frustrating from a story & continuity point of view, but consider it a win, save as, and proceed however you wish from there. If it does reappear, then you may need to move your challenge to a new save.
2. New Save.If all your saves have similar bad results, or you don’t have multiple saves, move the family to a new save. In Edit Town, save the household (and the house if you wish) to your library. Start a brand new game, place them down in it and start playing. If the one baby situation doesn’t reappear, then hey! Awesome! Now you know it was a bad save, and you can continue on with your challenge. If it does reappear, then it’s the sims that are causing it.In my experience, moving a household to a new save nearly almost always works so fingers crossed.
3. One of these things is not like the otherIf a new save doesn’t fix it, then turn your attention to you sims. One or more of them are ruining it for everyone. At this point, you might want to strap on a helmet because its about to get mentally draining up in this bitch. We have a few options here.i. Change active households to a random family. Fill there household with 8 sims, then have a female fall pregnant. Go through the pregnancy and aim for multiples. If she has multiples no problem, then the problem lies with your 100 baby family. If she doesn’t have multiples, it may be a mod causing the problem. ii. Kill off all living offspring in the household so it’s just your Baby Mama. Have her get pregnant, go through the pregnancy like normal and have her give birth. If you get multiples, then one of the kids you killed off is the problem. If you don’t get multiples, it may your Baby Mama.I hope something in there helps you lovely!! If not then.. I’m so sorry :S I’m also sorry I couldn’t answer this sooner ♥
