Chris Rasman: Superpark to Storm Factory
[ Snowboarder Magazine: Two Triple Corks 1 Jump ]
Here are Mark Hoyt's fs triple cork 1440 and Sebastien Toutant's Bs triple cork 1440 from Superpark 16
[ Battle Of The Brands: Capita ]
In keeping with their motto “We Devour Everything” the CAPiTA clan took to the Superpark 16 setup like cold cannibals feasting on every rideable face, leaving only the bones behind for the filmers to slice up. For five days straight, Brendon Rego and Scott Stevens toyed with trannys, Brandon Cocard chucked meat, Jess Kimura changed stereotypes, Durrel Williams nollie double fronted, Brendan Gerard double grabbed his corks and Garrett Warnick wormed his way onto the short list of Superpark 16 standouts.
Starring: Brandon Cocard, Brendon Rego, Scott Stevens, Jess Kimura, Durrell Williams, Phil Jacques, Andrew Burns, Dustin Craven, Brendan Gerard, Garrett Warnick
[ Battle Of The Brands: ThirtyTwo ]
The band belting out the brassy beat for this slick submission may be known as The Champs and the track may be titled “Tequila” but the contenders on display here are the most intoxicating part of this mix. Highlights include Chris Bradshaw’s slow mo frontside spinning style, Joe Sexton’s pretzel tap ledge line, Brandon Hobush’s barrage of board control, and Scott Stevens’s alley-oop Phillips 66. Vote above if you think ThirtyTwo is #1.
Starring: Brandon Hobush, Scott Stevens, Chris Grenier, Johnny O'Connor, Chris Brewster, Spencer Schubert, Dylan Thompson, Joe Sexton, Chris Bradshaw, Tyler Flanagan
[ Battle Of The Brands: Yes ]
Starring: DCP, Romain De Marchi, Madison Ellsworth, Frank April, Colin Spencer, Marius Otterstad
[ Battle Of The Brands: Ride ]
Ride came to the Battle of the Brands to play. With a strong team showing at Bachelor came a heavy roster of Ride riders, and when they showed up to the Superpark, it was all-out war. Their edit, filmed by Tommy Little, Yugo Tamagaki, and Team Manager Matt Sickels is highlighted by Brennen Swanson’s double corks, Austin Hironaka’s seemingly effortless style, Todd Kirby emulating Austin’s fluidity, and Yuki Kadono, the young Japanese ripper whose efforts earned him a nod from the SNOWBOARDER staff as one of the top ten standouts at Superpark 16.
Starring: Sam Hulbert, Sebastién Toutant, Darrell Mathes, Alex Cantin, John Shaw, Brennen Swanson, Austin Hironaka, Beau Bishop, Todd Kirby, Yuki Kadono
[ Battle Of The Brands: Nike ]
In Greek mythology, Nike is the goddess who personifies victory. Well, Mt. Olympus be damned, this is Mt Bachelor and the brigands from Beaverton haven’t left anything to chance when it comes to their 2012 Battle Of The Brands debut. Fueled by the viking blood pumping in their veins, Peetu Piiroinen and Halldór Helgason pillaged the park while Sage Kotsenburg, Gjermund Bråten and Ethan Morgan flanked the field with a flurry of double grabs, double corks, and double line jibs.
Starring: Gjermund Bråten, Sage Kotsenberg, Pettu Piiroinen, Halldór Helgason, Ethan Morgan
